Perfect weekend getaway! Close to everything we wanted to see and more! The house is just lovely, beautifully decorated and clean. The owners Matthew and Janina were wonderful and very knowledgeable, they made our stay very comfortable, felt like home, especially all the little touches. Wonderful breakfast each morning. We will definitely be returning.

Spent a weekend in this beautiful house. It is located conveniently to an entrance to Shenandoah National Park and walking distance to downtown Luray (which made the gated off-street parking imperative on a busy weekend). The convenience was overshadowed by the hospitality of the hosts. By the end of the weekend we felt like old friends. They went above and beyond to make our weekend fun and easy. Breakfast was phenomenal and personalized. Unfortunately the lure of the outdoor activities limited our ability to take advantage of the suite amenities including the sitting room and private balcony. We will be back.

We had an excellent time at the Inn of the Shenandoah. We celebrated a long anniversary weekend in Luray and the surrounding areas. Art, our host, was very helpful with his suggestions and was very hospitable and we certainly felt at home. The Inn itself was charming, clean, and spacious. Highly recommend.

Good location. Great place to stay. Our host, Art, was wonderful. He shared his knowledge of the area, which saved us time and pointed us in the right direction. Breakfast was great every day and the house is worth staying in. Would happily book again.

A step back in time with all the modern conveniences. Art, went above and beyond making sure all the details were top notch. His knowledge and recommendations around the area were spot on. A restful, clean, stay. Thank you kindly Art Scott and Judy

A delightful place to stay! We stayed a couple of nights and loved the atmosphere and Art’s enthusiasm. Great breakfast goodies. The Chop house next door was yummy too! Lots of atmosphere and period detail. Our room was large and comfortable. Convenient to both the trails in the mountains and to the other Shenandoah Valley attractions.

Great location in downtown Luray. Very charming Victorian style home with a lot of character. Not to mention absolutely wonderful hospitality from Art. So sweet and very attentive to anyone’s needs. We spent a lovely weekend there and would definitely stay again. Thanks, M&M

This B&B is awesome! Prior to arriving we were asked what kind of quiche we liked for breakfast and that, plus fresh pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and more is what we had for breakfast the next day. Upon arrival Art, the property manager, greeted us and walked us through the house (told us to make ourselves at home) then showed us our beautiful Victorian room with a jacuzzi and sitting room. Then he went and got our luggage for us. Art learned it was our anniversary so before we even got settled in we got a text saying there was a bottle of wine just outside our door. Art went above and beyond all the time. Once my glasses came apart and Art ran to Walmart to get 2 different repair kits. Another time he forgot to put scones out for breakfast and as we were in our car heading out for the day he comes rushing out with the scones in a baggie. We have many more wonderful stories. Stay here. You will not regret it.
