A friend recommended Palm Kalash being a quiet and lessor noisy place out of city. I checked from the Quorum hotel. On arrival at Palm Kalash reception was not manned. No orientation on my arrival. No official receipt while making cash payment. Tv room only one channel Super Sport, breakfast horrible, linens being hand washed and not sanitized. Employees seem not to understand their roles starting from reception to kitchen. I checked out on 27th November stayed 3 nights. Checked out without a bath and now power generator switched off hence l couldn’t afford missing my flight to Kenya. Other day’s l took a cold shower in my room 17. Tablets in the restaurant not well cleaned and flies allover the restaurant. Something good from Palm Kalash, a good swimming pool, well equipped gym, super garden. I’m giving honest opinion so that you do not lose customers and repeat same mistakes. Hotel industry has a high competition.

The rooms are big and spacious. The pool is well mantained. This is where positivity ends. We had 2 rooms booked. In both rooms only 3 TV channels, one room no remote control, in the other room very poor signal. Anything that´s missing you have to ask for: tea bags, towels etc. The restaurant and bar have a huge menu, but especially soft drinks are not available as per the menu. Food in restaurant is okay, but again a lot on the menu not available. Breakfast very poor, what they call a buffet is even for Africa ridiculous. Everything at breakfast except the self made toast was cold. Staff is friendly, but the managers walk around arrogant and do not even greet guests. Even though prices are reasonable, it is not a place I would recommend.

The beds are so hard! I have never slept on such a hard bed in all of my life. The food is very dry but the service is good. The cats at the pool was not professional and you can not control how cold you want the air conditioner to be. The bathroom shower needs a door otherwise water leaks all over.the shower head is broken as well.

From the check in the manager Patel was just rude , bad customer relations. We were not told of the services provided , we had to ask for everything. No tissues in the room on arrival , had to call reception !! Place too noisy as music plays from morning till nearly midnight. Food was served cold most of the times. Windows in rooms do not open for just natural fresh air . Please put lace curtains or blinds instead of just the normal curtains, for privacy on the ground floor especially . Positives, the sizeof the rooms are big and spacious. 2 ,Most of the staff were lovely though, especially the other 2 girls at the reception .
