We had a great time, very relaxing. Catia & Patericia (hope we have spelt name correctly) made sure any concerns we had were dealt with quickly and efficently. Staff work hard, lovely breakfast each morning and great coffee!! Had an evening meal which we requested before 4pm and chose from menu delivered to our room. We arrived at the restaurant and enjoyed a few drinks before being served mouth watering lamb type of casserole (best meal of the holiday) and good red wine. We did not have a car but walked to Espiche, bus service available but check times especially during off season. Bus to Lagos, spent a day visiting the Old Town with great and varied shops. Luz beach picturesque, had a wonderful short break people friendly and helpful. Location very peaceful and taxi service reasonable price.

The place is nice and remote and very peaceful. We stayed here during the first week of August. The staff work hard and they look after their guests. It’s obvious they take pride and it really shows. The rooms can vary, some are very nice, especially near the pool. They are more like studio rooms and very spacious. Both rooms we had also had a TV and a fridge. Quite a few reviews mention having a car. I recommend this, I thought I could get away without a car hire but later regretted it. Although saying that Bolt, Uber and FreeNow were great apps for cabs and the fares were crazy cheap. There is a 30 min walk to get to the beach, just check Apple/Google maps (we ignored the ‘private’ sign as it was a public path anyway :P Pros: - Wonderful staff - Peaceful location - Beautiful scenery - Amazing pool - Excellent rooms (ones we had 1 and 2) - Breakfast was ok - Manager lady is super helpful - Air-con - Fridge (for nice cold drinks) - Secure gated access Cons: - You need a car ideally - Some rooms didn’t look too great - Breakfast was ok - No dinner (although we did find out there was dinner if you asked, they would tell you what was available that evening) - No shops for quite a distance (if no car) I know I listed some cons, but they are more of guidance to take precautions like hire a car, get snacks and drinks from the local Spar, etc.. I loved our stay here, it was wonderful.

We had a reservation for this hotel made in December 2023 using an Odisseias voucher for September 2024 upon payment of a supplement. When we contacted the hotel for another reason two weeks before the date, they informed us that there is no reservation! All they can tell us is that it was a marking error/lapse. The reservation appears as confirmed on the Odisseias website and we received a confirmation email. But the hotel says that there are no rooms available on this date and that we have to cancel the reservation, already made in December 2023 and for which an extra was paid. Shameful and unacceptable

We just went on our honeymoon, they gave us the trip with the smartbox boxes for our wedding, just like another comment I read, we had to move several dates to get a room, and they asked us to pay 80€ because it was supposedly a better room... but the room was the smallest they have... not cozy, dark... plus the smartbox included a romantic detail that they DID NOT give us either. I'm sorry to say but the bed and pillows were HORRIBLE!!! My husband and I couldn't stand the pain in our backs on the third day. And the television only has 6 channels, all in Portuguese except 1 or 2 in English... The pool is very cool. The girls who work there are very nice and friendly, but I'm sorry to say that I was disappointed with the hotel... I would rather give it 2 stars than 3. I'm sorry but I wouldn't go back.

Since we had a late flight, we also arrived late at the hotel! Were standing in front of the closed gate after calling several times, the gate was finally opened remotely, there was no one to be seen with the suitcases? A little later a car tore the site in a very unfriendly man "ran" to the room in question gave my husband a piece of paper and he was gone! The room was stone cold moisture dripped from the door and window and over the bed sheets, but not to mention were not damp / clammy but just wet, so sleeping is not much. which even the thrift store does not include in its range. In 10 days no clean sheets and towel change in these 10 days 4 times. Staff We have seen 2 employees and that was still in the breakfast room. We stayed here from 28 Jan to 6 Feb.Never again!!!
