I stayed overnight at Plumber Manor after taking part in the Sturminster Newton Literary Festival - I had decided to treat myself. I was treated fantastically by everyone, from the owners to the wonderful ladies in the restaurant. The food was exquisite, the gardens are beautiful and my room had a wonderful window seat and view. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait for my next visit!

This was our second visit because we enjoyed our first one so much and wanted to stay a bit longer. Three days feels like the perfect length of stay for a total relax in such a beautiful place with the best of Dorset all around you.The staff are lovely and the restaurant is consistently of a very high quality. A great wine choice without the ridiculous prices that regularly appear in most restaurants. We will definitely be back to try one of the garden rooms.

Plumber Manor is quite simply the best hotel we know. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the house and gardens are magical. It feels like you are staying with old friends. From Sturminster Newton you have access to some of Dorset’s most interesting places. Stay at Plumber Manor!

Perfect setting for a country break. In it’s own extensive grounds Plumber Manor is a peaceful and restful haven. Made to feel extremely welcome and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Dining facilities excellent. Presentation and standard of all meals extremely high.

We visited Plumber Manor with a group of family and friend's to celebrate Mum's 90th birthday last Sunday lunchtime. I wish to complement the staff with how well they looked after us all - polite, attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. I am still relishing the thought of my starter - beetroot cured salmon, smoked trout, dill yoghurt and pickled kohlrabi. yum! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, wines and ambience. Thank you for making this part of Mum's special day.

Such a beautiful setting for an amazing Hotel. The rooms are so comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff were amzing so very firndly. The food was divine with a lovely atmosphere in the dining room. We wull most definitely return for future visit

restored my faith in hotels it was a completely exemplary experience. its hard to describe just how magical this hotel is ... from the welcome to the food to the rooms and beds ... it really does feel like you are in your very own mansion as a band manager i stay in hotels every week over many years plumbers manor is the very best
