We made a booking to stay here for two nights through ***********, and just as we were setting off on our trip, they contacted us to say they had advertised a wrong price and wanted us to pay double, or only stay one night for the price we had paid. It took us an over an hour to get the booking cancelled at their request, without being charged a cancellation fee of £110 as the booking was non-refundable. We now have no where to stay and have lost a day of our holiday. My partner has been working at an NHS hospital ICU department tirelessly with crazy hours, and really needed a break. The two days rest we had planned have now been ruined. We feel devastated. No apology from Rosedale Bed and Breakfast.

Superb place a bit old fashioned but loved it my sort of place lots of nik nacs to look at. Excellently cleaned and the breakfast was all locally sourced products cooked to a very good standard and plenty with more offered if you wanted would stay here again. Keith and Jenny the owners were very friendly and liked a laugh enjoyed my stay for a couple of nights wanted to stay for longer I will be back.

We stayed for 2 nights and I have to say our hosts are some of the loveliest, warmest people I've ever met! There is a very genuine and welcoming atmosphere at the Rosedale that is very rare to find indeed. The room came with all the amenities needed and is positioned in a quiet location, but also close to the high street where you can pop out in the evening for dinner (not even a 5 minute walk away). Breakfast was delicious and Jenny did an excellent job in providing a range of breakfast options.

Lovely week stay at Rosedale! Excellent location in the centre of the town, but very quiet. Delicious cooked breakfast, with plenty of choice. Highly recommend the poached eggs and home made porridge! Jenny and Keith are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. A home from home! We loved our stay, thank you both! 😊

When we stayed here for four nights, Jenny and Keith flew the flag, quite literally, for our anniversary. The room was small, but crammed with many extras that make a stay special - fresh milk and bottles of water in the fridge, tap water, biscuits and lots of varieties of tea and coffee. The bathroom also had plentiful supplies. We found the beds very comfortable and slept well. This is a small, 2 bedroom B&B, so the personal attention of Jenny is guaranteed. Her delicious breakfast was cooked to perfection and there was a good choice of food. The location is ideal, being on a quiet residential street. A gate in the back garden leads to the village car park and the shops/restaurants/pubs are just on the other side of it. If you are looking for a small, central B&B with easy parking, I would certainly recommend Rosedale.
