Strandflickornas annex Strandvillan i Lysekil. Charming little hotel with tea/coffe/chocolate and biccies available in the basement 24/7. Books to borrow. Next to Havets Hus. Nice breakfast at Havshotellet (low season) and e g yummy fish soup for dinner. Been here 4 times and always enjoyed it. Always nice staff.

Perfect for us as we were 15 persons (8 adults and 7 children) as there were a large room available for the the children to play and the adults to relax when the children were sleeping. Also located close to the city center and also to the beach and recreation areas.

We didn’t get the room we were promised by mail. The narrow bed was not fit for 2 persons - 140 cm is not a queen size bed! The seawiew was strickly wiew of a minigolf course. Adequate breakfast, nothing more. The 2 course meal was good, the fishsoup was great. The staff seemed completely ignorant and incompetent. The garden was pretty and tranquil, but unfortunately not very well equipt. Lysekil is not a pretty town outside the historic part. Practicly no places to eat if you’re not a big fan of fried foods. Other places along the coastline are much nicer. If you concider going to Lysekil and Strandflikkornas - just don’t!

Pros: Fresh and clean and nice interior. Beautiful view of the ocean from the room window. Breakfast small but ok. Close to restaurants and Havets hus. Cons: The view of the ocean was disturbed by the bus stop right outside the window. Not very good ventilation in the room, so open window was neccessary. Noices from the bus stop and nearby night club made it hard to sleep. Rather small room for three persons (2 adults + kid). Quite pricy for what you get, actually.

We had a great stay at this charming gem of a place, the perfect combination of B & B and hotel. Such great service, would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Lysekil. A child-friendly atmosphere, perfect location for visiting Havets Hus or such.

Lysekil is a wonderful place to go. Close to the sea and cliffs. The hotel is close to everything. We loved spending the evening playing games, talking and drinking tea and coffee. We slept well in our cozy rooms. We ate a good breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The interior and decorations are cozy and wonderfully old fashioned! Beautiful scenery and great service in quaint villas on the seafront. Comfy beds, nice breakfast. We were in Strandvillan, the annex, room no. 17 has a great view and a sea facing veranda, Remember to book a table at the restaurant for dinner - we were too late! NH5 in the north harbour is a great option too.
