Well i would rate my stay as just average and nothing else. To start with the negatives - the staff were not friendly or cordial at all, the overall vibe of the place was pretty sad and morbid. The bidet faucet in the washroom was leaking from all sides. There was a tv but none of the channels were clear enough to be viewed. We were told that tgere was wifi but it was funny that there was not enough signal from the router in the room. For using the internet we had to stand outside our room. The sound insulation in the rooms is pathetic we could hear everything that was going on outside. The positives were that they organised our to and fro speedboat commutes perfectly on time. The breakfast buffet spread was set up in the nearby triton hotel.

Location is very good, gives a feel of a beach stay. Washrooms - are very small, if you are plus size, you won’t be able to enter in the shower due to very limited space. Food - indian food not available easily, also the breakfast and swimming pool also is at their another nearby property, which is a just ok, staff is very supportive and friendly. Overall experience is just ok

Stingray Beach inn hotel we booked seeing the photos from the Booking But to the reality, hotel is not upto the level. It looks like average hotel in India rural area worth ₹ /day. AC was not working properly, initially chillness was there, but after that chillness stopped just we used fan. Refrigerator provided was making huge noise so we switched it off. In Bathroom , there was no curtain for window and just opposite to that window other side room window was there, so privacy was zero. Even room main door lock had a crack like more than 30 cm x 5 cm size which we covered with screen. Packaged Water bottle was also not provided to us. So bottle with water was there that we were asked to refill from reception water cane. This hotel did not have breakfast for us, they asked us to go and have in nearby triton hotel. Also swimming pool is not there they asked us to use triton hotel. Basically, talking about negatives there are many. Positives were minimum , the person in reception treated us well and guided us for day tours.

I had their freshly catch of the day fish and fresh octopus sizzling it’s one of the rare restaurants that offered fresh sea food the atmosphere is nice and pricing 200 mvr for fish and 230 for sizziling octopus we enjoyed this more then the candel dinner kani beach offer at beach because their is not fresh what’s point of being in an island and getting frozen fish

I have stayed in Stingray Beach Inn for 11 days of my vacation in the Maldives, island of Maafushi. It is a cute little hotel with a beautiful garden in the shades of tall palm trees. The food is just delicious, they offer asian cuisine, but the pizza is also great. Have to say they are vegeterian/vegan friendly. I recommend fruit juices made from fresh fruit, but also specialties on a hot iron plate (sizzling). Even if you are not staying in the hotel, you should definitely eat here at least once!. The service is a bit slow, but it is worth waiting. The rooms are modest, but clean and very cute, with air conditioning and fans. The staff is excellent and professional, lead by the kind manager Mr Ibrahim. If you want a relaxed and authentic experience of the Maldives, out of the resorts and fancy hotels that you may find anywhere, this is the place for you. If I come to Maafushi next time, I do not have to think where I will be staying. Stingray, definitely!
