The hotel provides sunbeds upon request, in fact there are unpleasant nuances, you are either not found on the beach or provided by others for which local merchants ask you to buy a cocktail. There is a TV in the room, but there is absolutely nothing to watch on it, just a couple of local channels. TV is not smart which is strange for a 21 year old hotel.
Everything else is good! The staff is trying very hard. Everything around is new.
Maafushi itself is not the best option to completely spend your vacation on it. But it is perfect as a transit point between the islands or if you need to wait out something in this country on a budget.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa. From the start, we were left waiting for hours at the airport despite sharing our arrival time. When we finally got to the hotel, we were not given the room we paid for. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive—something as simple as asking for towels became an ordeal. The way this hotel is advertised online is completely misleading. The photos and descriptions do not reflect the reality. It’s clear that management is either careless or simply uninterested in guest satisfaction. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or professional stay in the Maldives.
