The hotel provides sunbeds upon request, in fact there are unpleasant nuances, you are either not found on the beach or provided by others for which local merchants ask you to buy a cocktail. There is a TV in the room, but there is absolutely nothing to watch on it, just a couple of local channels. TV is not smart which is strange for a 21 year old hotel.
Everything else is good! The staff is trying very hard. Everything around is new.
Maafushi itself is not the best option to completely spend your vacation on it. But it is perfect as a transit point between the islands or if you need to wait out something in this country on a budget.

I would rate this hotel 3-3.5 stars not 4 stars because the room was kind of rundown for flooring , the laminate floor was popping up and bathroom shower smelled sewer because not drained properly The cooler in the room wasn’t working and I told the front desk about it and they told me it’ll cool when the temperature in the room is getting cold but it wasn’t true for their reason Breakfast was very basic Dinner buffet cost $12 usd/pp and it was so so. There were many small local restaurants near by Because the island is small so everything is within walking distance, therefore the hotel location was considered ok location with beach front and within walking distance to bikini beach The beach had lot of broken corals which caused the sands so rough and hurtful when walking barefoot the same when you were in the water The were lots of trash and seaweed in the ocean but no one cleaning up so the water was nice, beautiful color and calm but it wasn’t nice to swim The transfer round trip was $60/pp shared boat or $180/1 way private boat up to 10 people If I know the beach was dirty and rough sandy beach I would skipped to visit this local island and go straight to private island much better and saved the round trip boat transfer cost It was raining most of my stayed at this island so the streets were flooded and it was miserable to go outside
