The level of hospitality we encountered was truly outstanding, and we owe a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff members who made our stay so memorable. Themiya and Ruwan, the friendly faces at the front office, welcomed us with open arms and ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly appreciated, and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. On the culinary front, Nipuna and Janith, the talented chefs at Arena Beach Hotel, took our dining experience to a whole new level. Their culinary creations were nothing short of exquisite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors. From delectable breakfasts to romantic dinners by the shore, Nipuna and Janith's culinary skills added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon. The accommodations were luxurious, offering breathtaking views and all the comforts one could ask for. The staff is rude and uncooperative, especially their operation manager , a very malicious and provocative person. The hotel is not 4 stars at all. Before and after the hotel is a construction area, which makes it a very dirty place. The restaurant smells rancid and the food is bad. We could not eat a bite, even the water glasses smelled bad. The session The interior and exterior are lousy, and the disaster is that the beach and the sea are not beautiful, as if you are in a poor village that is not in the Maldives. Our children’s room was dirty and full of insects, and when we told them they just sprayed insecticide and caused our children allergies, the balcony is not soundproofed and all the noise and drums on the beach and the street you hear while you are inside the room, we could not sleep That night, one hour, even the voices of people in the entrance can be heard, and the curtains are not light-proof, the bed and pillows are very bad, we stayed one night and asked to checke out early and that they have to return to us part of the payment of the remaining four nights and for two rooms .we checked out to find out that they deducted all the booking and the high tax and the 5 breakfasts with the green tax with careLess and disregards from their manager . It was the most terrible hotel in Maldives with the biggest lose

The Kaani Village hotel is part of a hotel chain on the island. The treatment has been excellent from the reception, where we did not have to carry the suitcases at any time. The first person we had contact with was Magic, who gave us his phone number for anything that might happen. The room has all the comforts: a spacious bathroom, a large bed, plugs, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fan, lots of artificial and natural light, as well as access to the indoor pool. The beach is less than 2 minutes walk. The hotel offers all services directly, without third parties. We have done excursions in which we have swum with sharks, turtles, we have seen the coral reef, we have played with manta rays and we have eaten on deserted islands. In addition, the monitors that have touched us have had impeccable attention. We have coincided with people from many cultures and the respect that there is in general is noticeable. The price per excursion is between $30-50 per person, which is very affordable considering that you spend a large part of the day outside and it includes food. They also offer water sports. We have not been able to do them because we have lacked some time on the island. We have been here 5 nights. As for the food, they made us an improvement compared to what we had contracted and all the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) have been at the Kaani Palm, which is on the beachfront. They also gave us free access to the infinity pool on the 9th floor. The views are incredible. The beach in front is private and only accessible to hotel residents. On this beach you can wear a bikini without any problems. There are ushers who take care of everything you may need: lounger, drinks, food... It should be noted that the island is a mix between several hotel chains and private homes of people who live here, so it is not as artificial as if it were a deserted island with a resort. There are many cats that are very humanized, are good and allow themselves to be caressed. In general the experience has been very positive. If we had to recommend the trip, we would only increase the stay by 1 or 2 days to be able to do what little we have lacked.

We stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.

This is our first time visiting Maldives and we have choose Cocoa Island. I would like to highlight some staffs who have a great attitude and we are highly appreciate it. Maru from the restaurant, Every day, we were greeted with his smiles and an impressive variety of dishes. The food is so good and delicious. My wife, who doesn’t swim, thanks to the great guidance of Ali and Imma from the sport center. They are professional and made my wife know how beautiful under the water. Lastly, Minnu from housekeeping was a young and helpful fellow who ensured our stay was comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely fell in love with this little island and can’t wait to return!

Immediately about the minus. The refrigerator didn't work, although it can be seen as new. It was offered to use the refrigerator at the bottom of the hotel. The hotel provides lying on request, in fact there are unpleasant nuances, on the beach you either don 't find or provide others for which local traders ask you to buy a cocktail. There is a TV in the room, but there is nothing to watch it, just a couple of local channels. TV is not smart that is strange for a 21-year hotel. The rest is fine! The staff is very trying. Everything is new around. Maafushi itself is not the best option to spend a full holiday on it. But it will be perfectly suited as a transit point between the islands or if it is necessary to wait for something in this country budgetally.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I deeply regret recounting a disheartening array of issues during our stay at the hotel: Upon arrival, our assigned room was not only in a state of severe disrepair but also shockingly unclean. Despite a room change, persistent problems like a leaking toilet and malfunctioning air conditioning plagued our experience. Maintenance interventions, notably during planned fishing excursions, only heightened our frustration. Things that were mentioned in the folder are not even true, plus they lied about the constitution that was going on above our room, they promised that it will stop in the weekend but never did. Plus what bothered me was that the towels are not fresh and hygiene is far far from the norm. Dinner, scheduled at 20:00, was hindered by our aversion to spicy Indian cuisine, and the sleeping conditions were marred by disruptive noise, slamming doors, and inconsiderate fellow guests. Efforts to engage with the director for resolution were met with disappointment, as our concerns remained unaddressed. Scheduled activities faced setbacks, with delays and cancellations affecting a half-day excursion and a fishing trip due to a broken engine and adverse weather conditions. The subsequent request for a payment totaling 610 USD seemed disproportionate, leading us to cut our stay short after the second day. The half-day trip to Gulhi Island, conducted on an aged and sluggish boat, offered unappealing surroundings with an unpleasant odor. Promised photographs and videos of our experience were not delivered, intensifying our disappointment. Hand-fishing proved unproductive and induced seasickness amid high waves. Despite these challenges, it's important to commend a responsive woman who earnestly sought to rectify our grievances. Additionally, Mr. K's consistent politeness and assistance, especially in facilitating our return from the hotel to the boat, were notable. Unfortunately, despite these positive interactions, our honeymoon experience concluded on an unsatisfactory note, leaving us profoundly disheartened and dissatisfied with the overall quality of our stay.

I want to share about an exciting and amazing trip with the Triton Tours Maafushi team. It was a half day trip to two coral reefs and lunch on an uninhabited island. What can I say, I chose the best company in Maafushi with a professional team. We were very lucky and met 7 turtles, 3 sharks, many beautiful colorful fish and huge schools of dolphins, who did not leave us until our boat return to the island. I want to express my deep gratitude to the whole friendly and cheerful team - captain Batte, Sheggy, Rebit, Vikash and special thanks to my ‘Paparazzi’ Abichi, who took me a million unforgettable photos and videos. Thank you very much for the great impressions, emotions and happy moments.

Maamadi Boutique is literally heaven on earth. By far the best place I ever stayed at. This is what dreams are made of: Beautiful island, extremely attentive staff, delicious food/drinks, wonderful room and design. We loved every single minute there.

I have stayed in Stingray Beach Inn for 11 days of my vacation in the Maldives, island of Maafushi. It is a cute little hotel with a beautiful garden in the shades of tall palm trees. The food is just delicious, they offer asian cuisine, but the pizza is also great. Have to say they are vegeterian/vegan friendly. I recommend fruit juices made from fresh fruit, but also specialties on a hot iron plate (sizzling). Even if you are not staying in the hotel, you should definitely eat here at least once!. The service is a bit slow, but it is worth waiting. The rooms are modest, but clean and very cute, with air conditioning and fans. The staff is excellent and professional, lead by the kind manager Mr Ibrahim. If you want a relaxed and authentic experience of the Maldives, out of the resorts and fancy hotels that you may find anywhere, this is the place for you. If I come to Maafushi next time, I do not have to think where I will be staying. Stingray, definitely!
