Como Maalifushi - Partner Travels Free for 7 Nights or More

My family, including two children stayed at COMO Maalifushi last week, where villas were spacious, far surpassing any other hotel accommodations we’ve experienced, and provided the perfect setting for a luxurious and comfortable getaway. The staff at the resort were exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure our happiness. A special mention to Zayan, our butler, who made our stay unforgettable, from the moment he welcomed us with refreshing drinks to packing our luggage for departure. Zayan created a home-like comfort zone for us, organized a surprise birthday party for my sister, everything was beyond expectation, omotenashi was present. The F&B team also stood out with their warmth and attentiveness. They greeted us by name, and we found ourselves looking forward to visiting the restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic, and crafted to be both tasty and healthy. My family appreciated the thoughtfulness and creativity behind each dish. This resort is a gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury and authentic Maldivian hospitality. This resort is a must-visit for anyone looking to create memories in a truly idyllic setting. My partner and I visited Como Maalifushi for a 10-night stay in what turned out to be the best holiday we have been on. From arrival to departure the service was simply exquisite. It all starts with the Como greet at Male airport whereby you are whisked off to the lounge at the seaplane terminal ahead of your flight across to the resort. The flight itself is an experience and offers amazing views of the maldives and all the various atoll’s. Upon landing at the remote Thaa Atoll you are greeted by wonderful staff who take you by boat to the resort. There we met by the friendly resort manager and our amazing butler Citti, who took us by Golf Cart to our water Suite (416), which is great for that impressive Maldivian sunset view. Citti was a true stand out, she was amazing throughout, always on hand, but never over-bearing and very sweet. She even gave us a few little surprises, which were very thoughtful. By far and away the best butler experience we have ever had. The overwater suite was understated luxury, very spacious (huge bathroom with large rain showers and a tub) with all the amenities you could wish for. The pool deck welcomed you into the lagoon whereby each day we saw various sea-life ranging from fish, turtles, rays and small reef sharks. We collected snorkelling equipment from the dive shop which we were able to keep throughout our stay to explore the wonderful house reef, beaming with marine life. We also kayak’d to the neighbouring small island owned by Como for a little exploration. The food was simply amazing. At Madi the menu is extensive, well balanced and rotated every few days for variety. Tai was a great place for sundowners ahead of a great dinner with Japanese / sushi twist. The Chef’s come out to say hello too, and are clearly very passionate about what they do. I am Gluten Free (Coeliac) and they catered for this perfectly, pretty much being able to adjust every item on the menu and even surprising me with thoughtful gluten free options too! Gluten free pancakes and waffles were a staple for me at breakfast. I cannot speak highly enough of the service and staff throughout the resort from start to finish. Special mention for Naail, Zulaal and Anne who catered for us most breakfasts, lunches and dinners with the greatest of smiles on their faces and impeccable service. There was often live music in Thila bar which added to the laid back, relaxed atmosphere. Activities wise we would highly recommend the dolphin sunset cruise, jungle cinema, Photo Shoot and of course a massage at the Shambala Spa. The spa lives up to its reputation and the dolphin sunset cruise was truly breathtaking. We must have seen in excess of 50 dolphins approach the boat and conduct acrobatics in front of us as the sun set. Fishing / diving / waterport equipment is top-notch and the staff are very knowedlgable on all things diving, fishing, and the ocean. Our stay exceeded all our expectations! From our family water villa, we could see hundreds of fish, turtles, rays, and even a few (harmless) sharks swimming around the villa in the house reef. We went on so many snorkeling trips during the week we stayed here—sunset snorkeling, turtle snorkeling—it was amazing. The diving was also spectacular. A heartfelt thanks to our dive master and manager of the diving school, Shaheeb, for helping my daughter complete her last two dives to earn her Open Water certification. The New Year dive was particularly special. The Christmas and New Year buffet dinners on the beach were beyond anything we could have imagined. A talented singer, Nish Nahid, made the evenings unforgettable with her incredible voice. All the staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our private butler (yes, we had a private butler for the first time!), Opal, was absolutely wonderful. She ensured, with subtle and thoughtful gestures, that we had the vacation of our dreams. The weather was also on our side—a week of sunshine that made the setting look like it was straight out of a magazine, just as beautifully presented on the resort’s website. The sunsets were the best we’ve ever seen. Truly unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so magical!

We spent 9 nights at Como over Christmas and our children’s 8th birthday and we were blown away. So much time and effort had gone into making the Christmas festivities truly incredible - amazing lights, fabulous food, entertainment, sunset cocktails, Father Christmas arriving by boat and gifts for the children and hampers in our rooms. They also went out of their way to make our children’s birthday one to remember. The snorkelling trip to see turtles and the splash net dolphins expedition are well worth doing! A special mention to Jessica who looked after us so well and to all the staff who made our stay incredibly memorable. It was without doubt the BEST family holiday we’ve ever been on and I hope we’ll be back again

As a first time visitor to Maldives, the resort choices can be overwhelming. We had previously stayed at a different COMO property, so chose this one with confidence. We were not disappointed. The room, island, and staff are truly next level luxury. Highly recommend staying here if you have the option. Our large overwater villa was spacious and clean. The bicycles they leave for you give you the ability to explore the island. The spa and recreational staff are amazing and very helpful. The food choices and restaurants were all perfect. If you are looking for an amazing Maldives getaway, look no further than COMO Maalifushi. You will not be disappointed.

This resort was incredible and my trip to the Maldives was the best week of my life!! I went during the last week of September and first part of October so there were some rainy and cloudy days but plenty of sunshine and calm days as well. When I was stuck inside because of the rain, they sent us hot chocolate and popcorn to our room to have a movie day. When I got a sunburn, they delivered fresh aloe Vera from their garden. They think of everything!! All of the staff were so kind and accommodating. Zulal was our main server for breakfast and dinner and always had the best recommendations and was so kind and helpful! Our butler Anas was amazing and replied to us in minutes for every question and request we had. Managers and staff came by our tables at every meal to check if our stay was going well. The food was incredible, the activities were amazing, overwater villa was private and perfect, room was extremely clean and beautiful, the island was so well kept. I will definitely be back here and can’t recommend it enough!!!
