A basic but lovely rural setting accommodation. I liked the simple yet nice place which would serve the purpose if you are looking somewhere to live in the region. The venue we needed to go was only 5 Min walk. The host - Peter was very approachable and welcoming and an interesting person - a music lover. I highly recommend the place.

I love Mackworth House B&B, they are very welcoming. good-sized room, warm, clean. Ideal for me and my two dogs. It had a good-sized bed, nice bathroom. Lovely walks nearby, parking off street. Good Wifi. Highly recommend. Thanks for making my stay really good and easy.

Had a great overnight stay at Mackworth House Farm. Our room facilities were first class. Peter was most accommodating for our needs. An excellent and very talented host. Highly recommended and we hope to repeat the experience in the future.

Peter was very welcoming. The room (Amber) was spacious with excellent facilities. It was very useful to have a living space separated from the bedroom, as well as a kitchen. A nice touch was to stock the fridge with fresh milk. Parking is convenient. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing three nights.

Comfortable and relaxing home from home. Tucked away in the countryside but just a very short drive from Derby. Large room with own bathroom. Great shower. Fridge, kettle and plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Soft bed. Farmland views.

Great location, great place , rooms so nice and bed very very comfortable. Shower was great with lots of hot water. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room which we love. Host was very nice and attentive nothing was too much trouble for him. Would definitely recommend to friends and family x

Whilst visiting family we stayed at the Mackworth Farm B&B for four nights, we were in touch with Peter our host right from booking direct with him some months earlier to our arrival, he was always very friendly, responsive and amenable and gave us a great welcome when we arrived, I was impressed with our accommodation being clean and comfortable with all mod cons and nothing was too much trouble for our host, I would like to think that when we left four days later we left as friends and my wife and I cannot wait to return.

Just had a wonderful 4 days , Peter and Al couldn't have been more welcoming to us and our aging lab Rosey. So helpful. Beautiful farmhouse on a working farm. The most comfy bed, lovely room. Great breakfasts. Would highly recommend. We've already booked again for next year. Couldn't wish for a lovelier place to stay.
