SpringHill Suites Macon

The breakfast is good, especially many families bring their children to eat. The disadvantage is that don't choose the side facing the highway, the windows are not soundproof, it's too noisy. It's too noisy for children running around in the corridor. Suggestion: If you are asked what preference you have when checking in, you must ask for a quieter room.
Macon Marriott City Center

Service was pretty slow when we got there Thursday night. It wasn’t our waitress fault. Not very organized and kitchen seemed slow. The next morning we had to pay for breakfast. $15.99 for breakfast that is usually included in your stay. We only booked for one night because we had a grandson in a wrestling tournament and didn’t know if we would need two nights. I wish I had booked the second night with trip. Com and I didn’t because we were right there at the convention center and I walked back over and ask to get our same room for one more night. We got it for almost double the price of the first night and still had to pay for breakfast.
Courtyard Macon

We've stayed at this Courtyard multiple times. It's in a great location for one night stopovers, and right off the exit. The area is safe, and there are plenty of food options nearby as long as you don't mind dining at chain restaurants. Service overall is efficient and friendly. The bed is comfortable with clean linens and plenty of grassy areas for walking your pooch. The only downside of staying here is maintenance and cleanliness. The hotel itself is pretty beat up. We request the same room, our last two visits were only one week apart, so we know these are long term issues, not one off. The furniture in our room marred, with chunks out of the wood. The door lock doesn't work properly both times. We finally learned the secret jiggle, push , push, handle turn, then pull back, before pushing open the door combination. We reported this on our visit, and a week later, and probably several housekeepers later, it was still not working. Given the condition of the room, cleanliness is even more important. Here the hotel also stumbles even though charging extra fees for deep cleaning after a pet stays in the room. We found dust buildup and human hair in the tub and sink. The vents caked with dust as well. On the website the dog fee is 65 dollars however they actually charge 125. Needless to say a lot improvements and a deep cleaning needed. no one is wearing a mask or social distancing enforce.
Ramada by Wyndham Macon

2 times in staying there they wanted to refuse to give me my security deposit back. The only reason I got it back the first time was there was a lady that worked there who understood that they just didnt treat people right. I dont fully remember the first time but they wanted to say because I had the pet deposit that I should not get any of my regular deposit or the pet deposit back. The 2nd time that lady no longer worked there. So this is what happened my last stay. First of all they were going to charge a 100.00 deposit which was only 75 the last time I was there-I said look I dont have that but let me go and door dash a few hrs and Ill come back. Well they let me go with the 75. Ok cool In general I dont always want cleaning or service to my room, so maybe every few days Ill put the trash outside the door or ask for new towels. Oh they made sure I gave them every last towel in my room dirty or not. So if I had one dirty towel and one clean towel and I wanted 2 more towels- Id have to give them the 2 i had. Ok I get it maybe people take towels so at this point im annoyed but like ok whatever. So forward to night before checkout. I call front desk and ask for 12 pm checkout. Guy said sure no problem. (Didnt make a note of any sort.) Next morning Im taking a shower and the owner of property comes banging {not knocking} on my door like the police and im some criminal. I get out of the shower soaking wet and go to the door and say I asked for a late checkout. He yells through the door NO!!! you didnt.I just asked the girl at the front and she said you didnt. I respond no I asked the guy last night and ok'd it. He says oh well what time you be out? 12 I say. Ok you get out at 12. yes So then when I go to the front to check out- you have to wait for them to check your room to make sure you havent destroyed it if you want any hope of getting your money back. Since I didnt have much in way of service I had maybe 4 or 5 plastic grocery size shopping bags with garbage tied and neatly put around the garbage cans. It was not all over the floor or counters or anything. So this kid who is in his early 20s and same one who ok'd late check out comes in the lobby yelling at me ” do you know how dirty you left that room? Im like theres garbage in bags next to garbage but no its not dirty. He was like well Youre not getting your deposit back. So I lost 75 dollars because the prick thinks that picking up few bags that are not very big to put in the garbage was worth giving the customer grief and keeping my deposit. I needed that money for the rest of my travel plans. no difference. That was the WORST experience I've EVER had anywhere These people owning this property treated me like I was a criminal. Wouldnt make a person want to stay at other wyndham properties with that kind of experience
TownePlace Suites Macon Mercer University

Continental breakfast is good. Parking is free of charge. Very close to Moss University. There are restaurants in the surrounding area, and there are Japanese restaurants opened by Chinese people.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Macon I-75 North

Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the room felt fresh. The shower pressure was excellent, ensuring a refreshing experience. I found the accommodations comfortable, and I could have easily extended my stay. However, a minor downside was the sensation of a syrupy film on the carpet, so wearing slippers or socks is advisable.
