Madame Vacances les Chalets des Alpages

Great location ski in and out conveniently, close to supermarket, ski shop and rental and lessons. The apartment is comfortable and there’s a locker for skis and staff is really friendly and helpful. Staff helped us with taxis, finding pharmacy etc.

We had to make several calls and emails to arrange a late check in, they just didn't want to help with this. Then, when they did, they advised our key would be in a locked safe, my details and keys were on show for all when we arrived at 23:45pm, the map to our room was not great, leaving walking around the resort for 1/2 hour to find the room, when we found the room, the room was occupied by guests (startling them at 00:45), called the emergency number, a man turned up no apology, accused us of being in the wrong, when he realised it was not our mistake, not one apology, just passed us the right key and said OK! the proceeded to watch us all struggle with our cases up the stairs laughing at us!!! The rooms are basic, not that comfortable, not enough seating for 8 which the room apparently slept! We couldnt sit 5 comfortably! There wasnt enough hot water for one shower at any time of the day. Stayed in many budget holiday accommodation in the past, but this is one I will never revisit!
