Fantastic holiday....my husband and I are still in this hotel on holiday....beautiful hotel....everything perfect....you couldn't ask for more.....exceptional....we will definitely return as soon as possible, a very positive experience

Stylish hotel, rooms even those with a balcony are very dark. Small bathroom without a bidet (indicated in the hotel description anyway.) In the bathroom there are no radiators or any other accessory to dry bath towels (see photo) At the entrance and in the corridors there is a bad nauseating stagnant smell, I don't know if it is due to the carpet not being cleaned properly. At the reception the room keys are given and the direction is indicated, normally the staff at least accompanies you. Even in the room we had to leave the door open due to the bad smell that reigned in the room. Evening menu nothing special or typical (See photo) Breakfast never seen anything like it not even in the times of covid! Apart from 2 or 3 things nothing could be taken even with the appropriate tongs. Everything had to be served by a lady of a certain age. Useless queues were formed (see photo) In practice, since all the containers (bread, croissants, fruit salad, eggs, etc. etc.) are equipped with tongs or in any case with special accessories to be able to remove the food without touching it and since it is not a pandemic, it is clear that this method (no one can even take a fruit juice on their own) is done only and exclusively to save money and ensure that the customer only takes small portions. As you can see, we have traveled a lot in Italy and abroad but this is the first time we have found such a disorganized service for breakfast. They are understaffed. The lady I am referring to is not at all kind and friendly with customers except with some acquaintances. To conclude, because I am glossing over many other details, it is true that there is a car park in front of the hotel but on the days we were there the snow had created a layer of ice that made it difficult to get out. More than one morning we helped some gentlemen get out because their car, despite being equipped with special tires, was slipping. No one at the Hotel, even though they knew, pretended nothing had happened! There are many structures of various types and prices in Macugnaga and surrounding areas, consider them!!!!
