Madawaska County Hotels with Wi-Fi

This place was as close to something from a horror movie as I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. We had booked a room, requesting 2 queen sized beds; we arrived late in the evening of July 18th, received our room key, only to discover the room had only 1 queen sized bed - we were 2 couples, friends but not THAT friendly; hauled out suitcases downstairs to find out what was going on. Apparently, our room, secured by credit card, had been given away. We were given another room and I am being overly generous by describing it as a ”room”. It was located in some sort of enclave between 2 sets of ”cottage-like” structures, in unlit corner. We thought it was some sort of tool shed. Even a tool shed would have been preferable; we walked in and had our sense assaulted by what seemed to be the odour of urine cakes and molds. Stepped in and promptly stepped out; it looked and smelled like something that should be rented by the hour. We are 2 couples who have rough camped and had we been in possession of a tent, that would have been a far preferable alternative to what we were give under the guise of a ”room”. We went back to reception, told there was nothing more that could be done; cancelled and drove for 2 hours, to a Day's Inn, where we managed to get some much needed sleep, in a clean bed and room that didn't smell like a public urinal.

Free parking There are multiple brush room entrances to enter the hotel. You can choose to park near the entrance to enter the hotel. 5 minutes drive around the hotel Many restaurants are available. Very clean and well equipped! Although the breakfast type is small, it tastes good! The front desk service is very attentive! Recommended🌟

The hotel was very clean. You could tell it was old but well maintained. It was close to the Quebec border which was nice. I found it rather pricey. The room with tax was over $300 for one night. It was the most expensive that I stayed in on my vacation for the lowest star rating. The breakfast was okay with warm hard boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, juices and yogurt. The staff mostly spoke French but could speak and understand English. There is no microwave in the room but there is one for use in the lobby.

Location is right near the church and the convention center. Parking across the street. We appreciate the complimentary plug in for our hybrid. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. Rooms are dated but clean. Our tv had no sound and the phone was not plugged in. We opted for the restaurant in house because it offered happy hour. Alas that was for beer only. Our meals were bland and tasteless. My pasta was dripping wet which made the sauce watery and no flavor.

Very clean. Large bathroom in good condition. Good comfortable queen bed. Lunch acceptable.

Clean rooms. Quite lot of space. Front desk staff was very helpful. Good for a stop over. I would recomend it. Also had comolimentry breakfast. It was close to the highway and near the town of grand falls. 10 out of 10 for us. Price was also decent.
