I was in town with my cousins for a bridal shower and we stayed here. I cannot say enough about the hospitality, the ambiance and the comfort we experienced! The beds were so comfortable, and the room size was ample. I loved the patios, and the breakfast was amazing as well. I highly recommend!!!

Lovely b+b . elegant with a touch of eclectic whimsy . Located in the shore town of Madison,Ct. The inn keepers Ellen and Ray and the owner Ralph were welcoming and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The amenities both in our room as well as in the common shared spaces well thought out. Very comfortable bed with high count soft sheets, fluffy towels,etc. plenty of breakfast options and snacks . We enjoyed drinking coffee and reading next to the fireplace on a misty morning. If we had the opportunity to visit Madison again, would choose the Homestead.

We stayed at the homestead For just one night this week. It’s lovely and we wish we had time to linger longer. Our room is #15. Large room with a sizable bathroom, Comfortable bed, fireplace. Common areas and dining room are quite homey. Delicious continental breakfast. Owner Ralph and innkeepers Ellen and Ray couldn’t be nicer or more welcoming.

The Homestead exceeded expectations in every way, from communications to decor, cleanliness and comfort. The owner is on-site and has an excellent team of innkeepers. We've stayed at B&Bs before but this one takes the cake in terms of taste and attention to detail. I kept saying, "They've thought of everything!" which is exactly what we needed for a much-needed quick getaway. I often mean to write reviews and then don't, but not this time. We are sure to be back!

The entire experience at the Homestead was excellent. The day prior to our check- in...we were contacted about our upcoming visit...the innkeeper asked if we had any special needs or requests and our preference in music selections. The following day we checked in to a beautifully appointed room with all the comforts of home and more! The record player was set up and ready for our listening pleasure. We were meeting friends who also were staying at the Homestead. After an early dinner at Bufalina we went back and enjoyed some freshly popped popcorn and watched a movie. Then off to a luxurious king size bed for a good nights rest. A full breakfast was available to us in the morning! The staff was so attentive and courteous to every detail... and it was great! I would recommend staying at the Homestead to anyone who enjoys a cozy and comfortable setting.

We loved everything about our stay. We were greeted right away upon arrival and given an extensive tour of our room & the common area. Ralph the owner has outdone himself by creating 11 unique luxurious rooms for all to have a unforgettable stay. All the attention to detail wasn't lost on us that I can assure you. Bed was extremely comfortable. We look forward to our next stay at the Homestead.

This is one of those places where you want to return again. We have been twice and will definitely come in the fall for the leaf fall. Very cozy rooms with beautiful decoration. Great staff and excellent service. The house is well located, easy access to the ocean beach, restaurants, shops, and other small beautiful towns. Very clean and delicious breakfasts. Every time I visit, I never cease to be amazed at how everything is thought out in detail. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

We loved everything about this place. The decor, the rooms, the added touches everywhere! The beds were super comfortable, great breakfast options and the staff and owners were super nice. We were with 3 other couples and the outdoor area/fire tables was a great place to catch up with old friends after a wedding in the area. Hoping to have an opportunity to come again! Best B&B we ever stayed at.
