We travelled to Madrid to attend a Music concert at IFEMA. The Pullman hotel is an 8 minute taxi drive from the airport and 5 mins by tube which brings one within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is 5 mins walk from IFEMA thus all in all an incredibly suitable for hotel to attend any events at IFEMA. There are also several restaurants within 10-20 mins of the hotel if you don't want to go into city centre for a meal. I have read comments that the Pullman hotel is outdated, possibly yes if this was indeed a 5 * hotel, but honestly, since we did not pay anywhere near 5* hotel prices for our room (and i don't think any of the rooms are priced at 5* level) we didn't expect a swish hotel. However what we did get for our money was a hotel with a attractive upmarket like entrance, a comfortable room, which was clean and serviced daily. The air conditioner was a tad bit on the noisy side, but not such that we could not sleep at night. On the down side, just two things, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and the restaurant was closed on the one evening that we were there. Otherwise we would definitely stay again in we were looking for a hotel close to the IFEMA.

You can get there from Madrid-Barajas Airport by taking metro line 6, heading towards Nuevos Ministerios, to the Feria de Madrid stop. There's an elevator, which is very useful if you're traveling with heavy luggage like me. Then it's only a five-minute walk to the hotel. It's quiet and the bed is very comfortable. I would have appreciated slippers and body lotion. Very clean.
