Marriott properties in Madrid

Madrid is also my go-to hotel whenever I travel abroad. I only stayed for one night and completely forgot to take photos of the room. Check-in was super smooth, and the front desk staff spoke English. The room had all the disposable amenities except for a toothbrush. The decor was simple yet functional, the bedding was comfy, and the breakfast was excellent – rich and nutritious. Plus, the location is really convenient!

Staying overnight for a layover at Madrid Airport, this Marriott was an excellent choice. Unlike most hotels in Europe that only allow check-in in the afternoon, this one generally has a flexible policy. We arrived on an early flight, got to the hotel just past 9 AM, and they happily arranged for us to check in. The service attitude was also great. All the Marriott member benefits were provided, and the executive lounge is open from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Besides hot food during breakfast and dinner, there are also light meals available throughout the day, which is convenient for guests checking in at different times. They even prepared a breakfast bag for us since we had an early flight and couldn't make breakfast. The hotel has a good number of rooms, and the dining and fitness facilities are all comprehensive. The pool was also quite warm. There's a free shuttle service to and from the airport and a nearby shopping mall; no reservation needed, just queue up and hop on. The pickup point at the airport's Terminal 1 is opposite gate 14. When heading to the airport, be mindful that the shuttle for T2 and T1 might not be the same vehicle.
