The room basically met the standards, and we had all the amenities we needed. However, the hotel's interior decor was a bit awkward – there were many paintings that I frankly couldn't appreciate, nor did I find them aesthetically pleasing. The hotel is neither too far nor too close to the train station, but there's a bit of an uphill walk, which can be quite tiring after a long day of sightseeing. Considering the price is cheaper than Only You, I can't complain! It's also within walking distance to the Retiro Park and the Prado Museum, and the metro station is less than a 5-minute walk away. Luggage storage felt quite secure, as it was kept in a separate, locked room! One more thing: the lights in the hallway outside the rooms were a bit too dim!!!

The location is excellent, close to museums and art galleries like the Prado, Thyssen-Baptiste, and Reina Sofia, and convenient for traveling to other Spanish cities from the train station. The room was more refined than the official photos, and the space was quite large. Hotels in Madrid generally offer lower value for money compared to other cities, but overall, we were satisfied. The room included a list of recommended restaurants in the area; be sure to check the ratings on Google Maps before choosing, as we trusted the hotel's recommendations too much and ended up with a terrible experience.
