Sercotel properties in Madrid

Very pleasant hotel, albeit not in the very center of Madrid. Very clean and well-maintained. Our room was all right, but located in the basement, which made it feel somewhat dingy. Upon arrival we wanted to get something to eat at the bar while waiting for the room to be cleaned. However, the wait was inacceptable. Breakfast is more like 3*. Probably too expensive for what it offers, but unforfunately Madrid hotels are quite expensive.

The 611 Hotel is spacious and comfortable, with excellent public facilities including a swimming pool and a gym. The landscaping is beautifully designed, making it ideal for relaxation. It's very close to the subway station, about a 2-minute walk away. The No. 200 city bus takes you to the airport, making it very convenient (taking the 200 bus saves you the 3-euro airport tax on the subway). The hotel reception staff were very friendly, and check-in and check-out were efficient. They even let us check into our room early so we could rest and enjoy the hotel facilities. I booked this hotel because it was “close” to the airport… however you cannot walk to the hotel, and the shuttle information from the airport to the hotel was not correct and I couldn’t find the bus, so I had to taxi to the hotel. The hotel breakfast was good, but it could be served a bit earlier since most people stay at the hotel to get a flight out the next morning. The shuttle to the airport at 7:15am was great, comfortable and on time! The rooms walls are very thin though and you can hear even in the corridors and next to you 🙈 It was a decent bed to sleep on though and a great shower.

The hotel is located near a subway station, less than a 5-minute walk away, so transportation is fairly convenient. It's not too close to the city center, but it's relatively quiet. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel provides disposable toiletries. There are also tableware and kitchenware in the rooms for cooking. The bathroom has a bidet, a common Italian appliance. Some of the floor tiles are loose and may need repair.
