Hopefully I can have the google translate assisting otherwise cannot communicate with the guys at the camp site upon arrival. The view was pretty good at the hill top but the room was unclean with spider net inside the toilet, bathing water was extremely weak, the bed was uncomfortable with sound awaken when you move while sleeping. Staffs were all gone in the evening & I felt unsafe with my hubby all night with only 2 of us in the area.

This hotel was right on top of the mountain. Great view of the neighboring villages and distant mountains. The staff was very kind but only spoke Thai. The hotel is owned by a very nice Hmong minority family. Our room came with pork dinner where you roast your own meat- very cool- and a simple but delicious rice porridge breakfast. This village is about a 1hr drive from Chiang Mai and it was easy to take a Grab there and also get a Grab back. Be prepared to walk uphill a lot.
The only downside to Mon Jam (and the view) is the expansion and commercialization of the area, given the irony. The majority of our view were other resorts and their tents/rooms. This is definitely a very unique and novelty experience that should be taken at least once.

Come to Chiang Mai during the summer. The price is very cheap. The location and view are very beautiful. The bathroom is private and importantly, there is hot water for bathing. Otherwise... If I have the chance to come again at the end of the year, the view will be even more beautiful. The weather will definitely be better. There is food service, barbecue pork is ready, so don't be afraid of going hungry. The breakfast rice soup is delicious.

For those who are coming, it is recommended to use a car or motorcycle with a capacity of 150cc or more. The location is quite steep. The view is beautiful. Even though I went in March, the weather was still cool and comfortable. You can order a barbecue to eat. The bathroom has hot water and breakfast is provided. The rice porridge is very delicious, but the bread only has butter. The condensed milk is all gone. Why put it there? 555 Overall, I like it, but it is difficult to travel. Whoever comes, be prepared. It is definitely worth the price.
