The property is good in many ways - spacious & well-appointed rooms, a nice & clean beach, warm & prompt staff members, a good restaurant, delicious food, nice landscaping et al. However, the hotel struggled to handle the check-in process when we had to wait for an hour.

Amazing , well maintained and classic property. This was our 2nd stay at this property and it felt way better than before. Amazing and polite staff, variety of food options at the breakfast as well as at the dinner time . Mentionable Shout out to the Ganesh who took good care of my toddler's special food requests at the time of breakfast or dinner.

Very good hotel quiet and well furbished. Luxurious Gardens, big rooms which are very clean. Amazing breaksfast !!! We tried room service and laundery service. Both of high level. Thank you Kamal for your kind assistance. Highly recommended!!!

Last hotel after a tour of India ,2 night here with an extra 3 added on , our room was a garden bungalow. First impressions, impressive entrance lobby with well tended gardens beautiful looking pool right on the beach . The Beach condition were not good , plastic and glass bottles everywhere including at least 3 dead turtles, The Pool , tiles in and around the pool area missing , not sure it was ever cleaned , there was a distinct top coating to the pool surface water . Not enough sun beds an parasols ( typical in India ). Dirty pool towels possibly recycled and put back on the sun beds ,did I really see that Beach bar restaurant, was very good , beautiful location overlooking the dirty beach . Very attentive staff , The hotel are missing a trick and potential bar trade here because it’s not open till 3 pm , no food or drinks until then Garden bungalow, our second room , the bathroom in both rooms were distinctly grubby , hinge caps missing from the toilet seat totally unhygienic , no slippers or robes , towel change hit an miss . Balcony never cleaned and no sea view as stated in the hotel literature . The bedroom itself was comfy and clean . Restaurant/ Cafe nice surroundings,food was ok , but the service to say the least was chaotic ( faulty towers ) in every aspect . Watch out for the 58 % add on tax for wine , I think 14% for beer this is not stated on the menu prices . The staff themselves were enthusiastic and very pleasant , but the whole aspect was unmanaged chaos .oh Pizzas are good too Reception staff, very polite and ok , had a massage and that was good too To sum up ,this hotel is no where near good enough for its star rating ,disappointing member of the Group of ITC Hotels . Pleasant stay. Nice experience. Abu saiyad managed everything for us while our stay. He took proper care for us and room service was cleaning. Cleaning was upto mark and bathroom was also clean. Overall it was great experience. Recommend you to stay while you are in mahabalipuram
