This resort is in a fantastic location for exploring the temples of Mahabalipuram and also great for day trips to places like Kanchipuram. The staff and service are outstanding – warm, attentive, and always helpful. The large pool and sea breeze and the SPA make it a perfect place to relax. The restaurant serves excellent South and North Indian dishes. A special thank you to Sumit, who helped us choose the perfect meals and introduced us to the rich flavors of Indian cuisine. Highly recommended

AC was not working properly *** power was low Room cleaning was not done after informing repeatedly In bath room Shower was not working outside

The resort was really big and had lots of greenery. The private beach also was amazing and well maintained. The food however was limited in options as well as was over priced.

First entering into the bathroom seeing dead cocroach, looks the bathroom not cleaned for few days. No fridge and hair dryer in this big cottage. Shower Water stagnant in the center of the Bathroom floor. Children play area all the items are rusted and broken very unsafe for kids. Swimming not maintained for several months bottom tiles is broken and unsafe for kids. Only good thing is bigger room, food and open space.

Incredibly fun and relaxing stay. The property is huge and really beautiful with a private beach as well. The weather during January was the perfect time to visit here as well.

The resort definitely needs some efficient leaders and staff to run the place. Compared to the other properties we have stayed in Mahabalipuram Chariot resort has become an old property that's needs to be revamped. Rooms are damp and doors are wet. Not enough room service items available just tea ,coffee ,pagoda, fries. The restaurant slamed so many taxes on our bill . We could have eaten in a fine dine restaurant for the basic food they provided. Overall some efficiency , customer service and redoing the rooms will help the resort get more people .
