Coral Beach Resort

We had celebrations of our 50th years of togetherness of 1975-78 batch of MIT Chennai from 24th to 26th February 25 in Coral. There were 36 friends and families and Coral management and staff took care of all our needs. Arrangements by them for our group in the beachfront, Meeting Hall, Lawns , Restaurant, etc were excellent. The entire resort team was very flexible in accommodating all our needs and requests, right from group booking and finalizing the food menu. The team led by Mr Jai Anand gave exemplary services, not to forget to mention the services of Sheikh, Srinivas and Chef Pushparaj. The group thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Food was delicious… Fun-games conducted by a MC was very much enjoyable. The rooms were very neat and tidy with comfortable bed and linen. Coral is an ideal place not only for such events, also for family vacation, weekends and week days. Strongly recommended….. Thanks to the Management and the entire team for making our event and stay memorable !!

The location and ambience of the resort are very good with a well-maintained beach on one side and the highway on the other side. The reception and housekeeping staff is also very welcoming, warm and helpful. However, the rooms are very small, with tiny bathrooms and No place to store the luggage. Most importantly the airconditioner (split AC) was not cooling but only making noise.

Good property but rooms are a bit dated and can be maintained better. Beachfront is very good to sit in the evening (with free snacks/tea) though our time was noisy due to some event music. Staff was generally helpful but service was very slow (was told cos of full occupancy on weekends). On-site restaurant was decent

Here's a feedback from my overnight stay at the resort. Pros: 1. Property and Ambiance: The resort is nestled in a lush green landscape with a serene beach view, making it an ideal place to unwind and disconnect from the hectic demands of work life. 2. Photogenic Spots: The resort offers numerous scenic locations perfect for capturing memorable moments. 3. Refreshing High Tea: Enjoying a refreshing high tea while overlooking the beach adds a delightful touch to the overall experience. 4. Access to Amenities: Guests can make the most of their stay with access to the swimming pool and spa facilities. 5. Well-Appointed Rooms: The rooms are well-equipped with essential amenities such as hot water and reliable Wi-Fi, providing a hassle-free stay without any complaints. 6. Diverse Breakfast Options: The resort’s breakfast buffet offers a substantial variety, including Aloo Paratha, Idly, Pongal, Vada, Poori, live dosa counters, ***** with an assortment of chicken dishes and eggs, making it well worth the price. Cons: 1. Lack of Personal Engagement: The absence of personalized attention from the staff, particularly the receptionist, detracts from the overall experience. A more proactive approach in providing information about resort amenities and extending gestures like inquiring about guest feedback or offering assistance in arranging transportation would significantly enhance guest satisfaction. 2. Limited Staff Presence: Considering the size of the resort, the number of staff appeared inadequate, which might affect service quality. 3. Maintenance Issues: Due to the proximity of the dining area to the beach, the chairs appeared slightly soiled, likely due to the presence of crows. Improved maintenance would ensure a more pleasant dining experience. Overall: Despite a few areas requiring attention, the resort provides an enjoyable experience, offering good value for money.

Check in was smooth. Room was clean and neat. Buffet spread at the restaurant was good with their live counters and their service staffs. Mr.Alex was so kind and courteous. Enjoyed having nice time in swimming pool with Tea and snacks. Highly recommended.
