We have been downgraded as the room we booked is not available! However, the hotel made it up for us by providing a free half board option with another room to our very late check out.

The room is super nice, very close to the beach, with pleasant scenery, especially the small terrace with a great view. Both the elderly and children like it very much. It is an ideal choice for vacation. The front desk service is very good and very enthusiastic. The buffet is great for both breakfast and dinner!

The facilities are old and the safety is worrying. It was too late when I checked in and I forgot to lock up my handbag separately. When I came back the next day, I found that several hundred dollars were missing. I explained it to the front desk, security personnel, hotel manager, and the general security director separately. Finally, after investigation, they said that the cleaning staff had been working for four years and there was no problem. It was left unresolved. Forget it. I was too lazy to call the police and didn't want to waste time and affect my mood. I will keep valuables in the future and will never live here again.

Upon entering the waiting area, one is greeted by a stunning view of the sea, which is truly beautiful. The reception was exceptionally impressive. The bedroom offers a high level of comfort, complemented by a picturesque sea view. Our stay was absolutely flawless.

Stayed two nights at this hotel, nice poolarea and friendly staff. Ate at the nearby sisterhotel Story, so don’t know how the restaurants were. Breakfast was good with a bit disorganised, but very nice and friendly, staff. The oceanview room we had was very clean and nice, with excellent beds. It had a nice little porch with a couple of sunbeds and two chairs, although no parasol or roof so they were very wet because of some rain. Poolside the cushions were not retrieved when it rained so they were wet during our stay, but the deckchairs were usable without cushions, so not that much of a bother.

Mahe Island in the Seychelles is a beautiful Island and we had the most amazing two weeks, made even better by staying at the Fishermans Cove Resort, what a wonderful hotel all the restaurants face the amazing view of a beautiful beach and their pool is such a perfect temperature that you can lay in it all day looking at the beach and turquoise sea, their is also a reef for snorkelling. All the staff were friendly and helpful and added to our stay. The food in the La Cardinal and Cocoloba restaurants were amazing and every one should have food cooked at the live station in La Cardinal by Raphael, such delicious food, a great cook and lovely person. Our bedroom was a perfect size for two weeks and was kept scrupulously clean and all the staff cannot do enough for you and are so friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Would definitely go back to the Seychelles and Fishermans Cove Retreat. Thanks so much to everyone. Julie and Phil

We have just spent an idyllic 10 nights at fishermans cove and loved every minute of it. Our junior suite (105) was located in a perfect position overlooking the water but our terrace was shaded by a magnificent tree that maintained our privacy whilst still allowing us to people watch and check up on the resident heron who occupies various rocks during the day. We never got tired of this view. The immediate beach front is not suitable for swimming as there are rocks, coral and sea urchins. We Bought some great sea shoes to protect our feet whilst paddling there, and walked a short way along the lovely 3km beach for safe swimming. We upgraded to half board as there are not many dining options in walking distance, and we found the daily changing buffet in the cardinal restaurant to be of very high quality , and I an very fussy! The Paris Seychelles restaurant was very expensive so we did not eat there at all. Talking of expensive, the bar drinks and wine were really highly priced so we did not drink as much as we would have if the prices were more reasonable. This is a very quiet resort we loved simply listening to the waves, the birds, the bats and the geckos. No entertainment, no problem. If you like somewhere lively in the evenings then this may not be the place for you. The staff at fishermans cove are all wonderful and everyone made us welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
