Amazing views of the south side of the island, excellent friendly management and the room was just incredible. Loved the breakfast too and the entire ambience of the whole place. the rooms were very modern BUT they were modernising other rooms as well and i had a tour of them - they look incredible. All the furniture was crafted from wood on the land so it all looks great and very local.

Great views and Beach close by. The hotel is located on the hill and the beach is across the street. Tha suite was spacious, a great balcony and views were great. The breakfast was OK and staff is very Cooperative. The rooms are on a hill so if you have knee or back problems please be careful There is no drinking water available in the room, so have to buy it from the store and haul it up the hill

We had 5 days at this hotel. The breakfast was good enough, rooms are ok, staff is very helpful and friendly. The only negative point is that we did not have Wi-Fi access in the room but if you are in Seychelles try to get rid of your phone.

Simply Magnificent. It is such a pleasure to stay here. It’s a true paradise Island in Seychelles. We spent 2 wonderful weeks on Lazare Picault Hotel. The Villa are spacious and more than comfortable. We love the ocean view, beach and wonderful nature. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful and courteous, especially Jean Yves, Charles and the others staff as well. We’ve really enjoyed our holiday. Highly recommend. Markus & Iveta & Petronela

To anticipate: The Lazare Picault is my favorite hotel on the main island of the Seychelles! A small and cozy family run hotel with unbeatable views of Baie Lazare. One of the sons, who by the way spoke perfect German, was always happy to help with any questions we had and also had one or two recommendations ready. By the way, if you pay cash, there is a 10% discount. So take enough euros with you. ;D A safe is available in the room. We had booked the honeymoon cottage (house no. 10) which had a really large bathroom with modern facilities and a large living room/bedroom with a small en-suite kitchen. We have limited the use of the kitchen to making tea and coffee and eating food that you have brought with you. I don't see that you can really cook there. Like all hotels with a dream view of the sea, the hotel is situated on a hillside and guests should be able to walk. Below our house and with correspondingly fewer stairs, I can recommend house 7 - 9 with an at least as beautiful view from the respective veranda. The hotel only offers breakfast. However, this is sufficient and offers crepes, fresh fruit from our own orchard (mango, papaya, melons, coconuts, etc.), cereals, sausage, cheese and toast. You can also have eggs freshly prepared, from boiled eggs to omelettes, with the ingredients you want. For lunch and dinner, we recommend "La Gaulette", directly below the hotel. If you want to see the country and its people and the various beaches, a rental car is definitely recommended. The Baie Lazare is not always recommended because at high tide there is practically no beach left. Our favorite beaches were Anse Soleil (about 15 minutes drive from the hotel) and Port Laneau in the north (about 40 minutes drive). All in all, we spent 2 wonderful weeks in the hotel, which our 5-year-old son in particular will talk about for a long time to come.

Unser Haus (Nr. 7) hatte die beste Aussicht von allen auf dieser wunderschönen Anlage. Unbedingt erwähnenswert ist die nicht zu übertreffende Sauberkeit, nicht nur des Zimmers, sondern des ganzen Anwesens. Sehr nettes, aufmerksames Personal. Tolles Frühstück. La nostra camera era perfetta, con balcone e vista mozzafiato sulla baia. L’hotel è diffuso ed immerso in una vegetazione favolosa, le camere sono disposte su vari livelli e raggiungibili tramite scalette ripide ma suggestive. Staff molto gentile e disponibile, sempre sorridente. Pulizia assolutamente top. Colazione buonissima con frutta locale, pancake, banana bread, toast, uova cucinate al momento su richiesta. Abbiamo girato in auto praticamente tutta l’isola di Mahé ma non abbiamo trovato nessun posto così bello! Torneremo di sicuro alle Seychelles e senz’altro in questo hotel. Non credo siano molto gli hotel da cui è possibile ammirare l’intera baia direttamente dal letto! Non da ultimo: prezzo basso, considerando l’esperienza che offre. Il ristorante “La Gaulette”, proprio sotto all’hotel, propone piatti tipici e cocktail molto buoni.
