This Spa hotel was amazingly wonderful.
Location: 20mins walk from Taplow station, driving will be much more convenient but walking also works, it’s quiet and peaceful along the way.
Building: was super beautiful with a huge yard, love the decorations.
Facilities: went for Spa but also surprised by the brand new elegant sauna room, so superior!! Super clean.
Service: very friendly, went there on Tuesday night and it was very quiet, all staff were friendly.
Had an amazing night there with friend, will definitely come back!!

Nice location near to where we needed to be.
Service could be better, reception unmanned sometimes to have to look around for check in etc which took a while.
Breakfast was nice and that service was great.

Lovely place and nice grounds. Clean rooms. Large outdoor spa pool. Very relaxing. Wonderful breakfast. Reception area is a little odd, just a table in the hallway. But otherwise great stay.

A great hotel with a great environment and friendly staff.
There is a small hot spring (actually a small swimming pool) with free fruit tea and fruits.
There are many places to play around, suitable for driving or cycling
The only drawback I feel is that the bed is a bit small. It was a bit crowded for the two of us to sleep. It was described as a twin room but in fact the bed was very small.
Breakfast was great! Highly recommended! Perfect English breakfast

We bought a sunrise spa package, and when we arrived at the hotel we were surprised that there isn’t actually a spa. There is a luke warm “hot” tub outside, with outdoor lounge chairs (fine if you’re in the south of France, not so much in England). There’s a very small sauna that is ok for two people, no more. And that’s it. God knows what people who pay to be there for the day do. There are no hooks by the showers and the water leaks out under the doors, so you have to balance your towel awkwardly on top of the door. The staff are a shambles, we were given the wrong treatment times so didn’t get off to a relaxing start. The music played during treatments had an annoying female voice singing at me for 30 mins. Then the lunch! An awkwardly quiet dining room with no atmosphere, (please get some background music on), a limited food choice and poor quality meal. And the staff are completely clueless, we had to keep asking for things and waited for ages to get anything such as drinks menu, drinks, our mains, our bill! I would not recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I very much enjoyed a 3 night break at Taplow House Hotel, and found our room very spacious, very friendly service and wonderful food and wines. Acting on there advice we enjoyed a wonderful day out walking to Boulters Lock with lunch which we found absolutely wonderful and relaxing. The following day, again on some very friendly advice we walked to the railway station and caught a train into Windsor again a splendid day out and of course given the car a holiday at the same time. All of the staff were extremely friendly, and when dining, Jakob was very informative and friendly regarding not only our choice of wine but wine in general. Thankyou.

Went to the spa and for dinner. Spa is nice small hot tub and sauna but all the staff are lovely and provided enjoyable treatments. Dinner was strange. Very awkward atmosphere and not many options ( only one vegetarian option a bland risotto). Would skip dining there you would not be missing out.
