Friendly and personal service,, nice place, good location,,, The staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful staff; humble, they made me and my partner feel a homely experience we were tired and stressed and needed this reception. Excellent food, enspiring atmosphere especially in the Ghandi restaurant the decorations takes you away from the daily pressures of life. Giving out a strong recommendation to stay here and unwind.

Prior to staying in this hotel I read the reviews and was concerned about my stay. HOWEVER!! I feel the bad reviews are unfounded. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The decor way fine. The room was quiet it had a tv, tea and coffee. The staff were most helpful , if I needed to stay again I would. No it’s not 5⭐️ but for the money they charge it is good value.

Please look to pay a little more and avoid making the same mistake as me and staying here. I have stayed in hotels across the world, some good and some bad. This has to be in the top 3 worst hotels I have ever stayed in. For starters there is a strange and horrible smell in the property and I had to wash everything I took with me, even things in the case I did not wear. The toilet had no toilet seat, bathroom was full of grime with a tiny sink you could not have a wash in. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the covers I was unsure if they had even been changed from the last occupant. The tea making facilities were there but tea bags just left on the side. Not even in a bowl or anything. The place just echoed noise and even as a heavy sleeper I was woken many times from loud noises from inside the building and possibly kitchen downstairs. The only good thing I have to say is the food I had in the restaurant was good. But that was not enough to make up for the poor hotel.

If we were only allowed to describe this hotel using a single adjective, it has to be 'seedy'. Everything about the place screamed outdated and grubby. The electrics were dodgy & there was exposed wiring behind the ghastly brown plastic-covered headboard. Note the p the melted plastic hairdryer. Shabby curtains which weren't even properly hung. Filthy carpet leading from mostly unmanned reception. The stench of curry was apparent everywhere. No free Wi-Fi was offered on arrival. Only 6 parking places. Vile decor and shabby bathroom with outdated pink suite. Shower was only lukewarm. Lurid pink painted walls. Sheets & towels fine though not sure duvet cover was clean as some brown (coffee?) stains visible. Great (not) view from the window (see photo). No wonder there's no-one at the desk when checking out (you're told to post them in the letter box) because they won't want to hear the complaints. Only one plus point : quiet area. Never again!

It was the worst ever ever experience. The room was terribly dirty and dated. I was feeling discomfort when I tried to sleep. The mattress had some kind of wear which feels under the bed linen. I had skin irritation and could not sleep at all. After the first night I had very busy day and felt very tired so I had to book to stay somewhere else on my second night. I checked out without staying the second night I paid for. I called the lady from the reception and the manager in charge to show them the issues and explain them the situation. I offered a different room but was to late as I already had a very busy day ruined off and couldn’t risk again so I had to check out. I was explained to me that they don’t have cancellation policy on which I replied: I am not taking about cancellation, but refund as I did not receive the accommodation I paid for it. The response was to contact ***********. I do believe I should have my money refund!
