Hotel Ani was the perfect hotel for us. The staff make this hotel great, friendly, helpful giving recommendations and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were clean and spacious. Air con was great. The pool and sun beds were great, sometimes we had the pool to ourselves which was nice! The sun-beds don’t get the sun till about 11 o’clock, so if you like to sunbathe early then bare this in mind. The beach was a few minute walk down the hill with plenty of sun beds as a change (these cost 12 euro each). Breakfast has plenty of variety and the fresh eggs to order are delicious, sometimes we were offered complimentary champagne with breakfast which is a lovely touch. The spa is gorgeous and you can book an hour slot to use the facilities. Location is great with plenty of restaurants on the beach front, shops across the road, bakery up the road with delicious pastries and pizza that you can bring back to the hotel and eat around the pool. Cocktails were fantastic. We had the best stay in Makarska and we will 100% be back to Hotel Ani soon.

Loved this hotel ,we just arrived back home on Monday,Staff extremely friendly and helpful ,hotel was super clean ,quiet and very comfy beds.Breakfast continental in small dinning area which was perfect and once again staff very attentive. Lovely spa area hot tub and sauna . Small pool outside with seating area and a few loungers. This hotel was just up the hill so a short walk down to the beach and restaurants. One thing to note is if you have a city view the road was a little noisy when out on the balcony ,but We would defenatly stay here again as it was perfect for us.

What a lovely little hotel. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the scrambled eggs were fab!! We had room 105, which comes with a separate lounge, bath & shower and a walk-in wardrobe. The cleaners were in and out while we had breakfast and fresh towels every day. The views from the balcony were lovely and we got the afternoon sun when the loungers were in the shade, we also got to watch the lightening storm on the night before we left. We got a taxi down to the harbour a couple of nights towards the end of our stay as restaurants near the hotel had closed for the season and one that wa soon didn’t have anyone else dining in it so had no atmosphere.

The staff (reception, breakfast waiter and cleaners) are amazing, hard working and are doing a great job. They've got it spot on. Great small hotel, relaxing experience. Rooms are beautiful, clean, modern, comfy bed, everything you need. Breakfast perfect, healthy, good quality, plenty of choice. Spa and gym are lovely. Really good idea that you can book an hour **** so you have it to yourself. Close to the beach. Perfect holiday.

Excellent hotel and staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast buffet excellent. We used the hot tub and sauna at the hotel at no extra cost. We had room 105 which had a bedroom ,bathroom and lounge with a balcony view of the coast. Five minute walk to the beach.

Everything was just great! The staff of the hotel were doing their very best for us to have the greatest holiday here. They were very nice and they would recommend us things to do in Makarska and around Makarska. Breakfast was really good and we could order eggs or pancakes aside from the other food, because they made them fresh. The hotel was calm and you could make reservations for the Spa, so you could go in private. There was also a nice fitness room to workout. The pool was also really nice and calm and you could order drinks at the pool if you wanted. The hygiene was also perfect and the cleaning ladies did their job very well every day. Once again, a big thank you to the staff of the hotel!!

Hotel is amazing, location wise it’s perfect for a walk to the old town and 5 minutes from the sea. Supermarket directly opposite and bakery and restaurants up the road. You can’t fault any member of staff here, they are so good. Always taking time to say hello, answer any questions and help with anything you need. Hotel has a spa in the basement where you can book an hour slot to yourself where you have use of a sauna and jacuzzi. Rooms are cleaned daily, air con works well. Room has a safe and bathroom has a walk in shower. Plenty of storage for clothes and bed is comfortable. Breakfast you have choice of help yourself or order a hot plate of various selections. Pool is good, didn’t have any problems with getting sun beds. We had a few hours around the pool but you have the beach nearby. Overall really pleasant stay.

Fantastic hotel, cannot rate highly enough and we very much recommend, the staff are superb and so friendly and helpful, breakfast is of the highest quality, rooms are very comfortable and finished to high standard, cleaned every day, great location to get to the beach and restaurants.
