"It was a nice, amazing staff and really friendly. They showed much respect and help with all issues even though we had none, Very close to the Kaaba 🕋, they have a bus that comes every 4-10 minutes and it takes about 5 minutes to get to the haram and they drop you if right outside it more or less. I never had their breakfast as it was Ramadan but regarding the rooms then the rooms were really basic and not as nice as the picture."

"After a few initial hiccups with room size, maintenance issues, and the card system at reception, the kind Guest Manager upgraded us to a suite on the 25th floor—what a thoughtful gesture! The proximity to the Haram makes the whole experience so much easier, especially when returning from prayers. You can literally see the Kaabah from the hotel exit, and being near the Clock Towers gives you easy access to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was absolutely amazing—top-class food served by very nice Bangladeshi staff who were attentive and kind. Funny enough, after all the sweat and crowds at the Masjid, returning to the hotel and smelling its freshness was such a relief. Alhamdulillah. The hotel usually offers gahwa, water, and dates after Salah, which is lovely—but as a heads-up, it tends to run out quickly, so not everyone always gets some. The views (if you opt for the higher, more expensive rooms) are incredible. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, making it easy to rest after long days at the Haram. Overall, despite minor hiccups, the excellent service, stunning location, and comfort make Marwah Rayhaan by Rotana highly recommendable. Alhamdulillah, it made our Makkah stay much more comfortable and memorable."

"A very nice and clean hotel, close to the Haram, and buses arrive every ten minutes. They care a lot about the guests, and the lobby is very luxurious and large. They give you cookies when you arrive, and there is Saudi coffee at the entrance and flowers everywhere. It deserves to be a five-star hotel. The breakfast is beautiful and varied, and the staff are cheerful."

From the moment we arrived until our departure, the hotel upheld its reputation for world-class luxury and attentive service. Location: Unmatched Proximity to the Haram The hotel’s location is, without a doubt, its greatest asset. Being part of the Jabal Omar development means the Masjid Al Haram is an incredibly short and convenient walk away. This proximity was invaluable, allowing us to attend all daily prayers and perform Umrah with ease and speed, saving precious time and energy that could be dedicated to worship. For those seeking to maximize their time in the Holy Mosque, the ease of access is unbeatable. Accommodation and Comfort We stayed in a Deluxe Room (or other specific room type if you know it), which was both spacious and elegantly appointed. The attention to detail in the room was a hallmark of the Jumeirah brand—from the premium bedding and memory foam mattress that ensured a deeply restful sleep, to the modern, well-maintained amenities. The overall ambiance of the room was one of serene comfort. If you are fortunate enough to secure a Haram View room, it offers a truly profound and peaceful experience, allowing you to reflect and even perform voluntary prayers with a direct view of the Kaaba, enhanced by live speakers broadcasting the Adhan. Impeccable Service and Dining Options The staff service was consistently outstanding throughout our stay. Every member, from the reception team to housekeeping, was incredibly courteous, friendly, and professional. Their willingness to assist quickly and efficiently truly elevated the experience. While we did not utilize the breakfast, we made use of the 24-hour in-room dining service a couple of times. The food arrived promptly, was of high quality, and provided a delicious, convenient option after a long day of worship. The variety of on-site dining options also gives guests great flexibility. Final Verdict The Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah provided an atmosphere of luxury, comfort, and deep serenity, making our three-night pilgrimage a truly seamless and spiritually enriching experience. The combination of its prime location, luxurious rooms, and impeccable, five-star service fully justifies the stay. "I had a pleasant stay at Swissotel Makkah overall. One of the main highlights was the spacious restaurant with a wide variety of breakfast options, catering to different tastes. The location is excellent, as the hotel is part of the Abraj Al Bait Mall complex and is very close to Masjid Al Haram, which makes it extremely convenient for prayers and shopping. On the downside, the check-in time is quite late at 4:00 PM while check-out is at 12:00 noon, which feels unfair as it doesn’t even provide a full 24-hour stay. Additionally, the lobby and elevators can get very busy, especially during peak times, causing some delays. Overall, it’s a good hotel with a prime location, but improvements in check-in timing and crowd management would make the experience better."

"Anjum is a fantastic hotel for umrah. First of all they upgraded to a masjid haram view room for free. Second, they let us check out just after zuhr out of kindness to let us pray before leaving (other option is they hold onto the luggage). Third, they have a free breakfast buffet for guests (there are 2, go to floor B1 for the better bigger one) which had great food - fresh waffles, pancakes, falafels, eggs omelette or boiled and a few rotating warm dishes like french toast, some mince meat arab dishes, scrambled eggs, daal. They had a really good variety of breads, and also houmous and other bits. The location is great. Literally at the outside of the hotel is an escalator that goes down, and you walk out and in 5 minutes you are at the back side of the masjid. Make sure you use this escalator - dont go crossing the roads and roundabout and walk by the hilton, thats a long way around. Only downside is that the hotel leads to the backside of the mosque - the umrah gates 74 are a further walk around and take more time, maybe like 15 minutes (but with sore feet and slower pace can be longer). For the price i think the location is still worth it and hotel is absolutely amazing in all ways. Staff also very friendly If you will seriously struggle with mobility then the best is probably clocktower hotels that are literally in front of the umrah gates, not sure of their quality or else as they arent as new as anjum and nearby hotels, and anjum was cheaper and included an amazing breakfast and amenities. Would come again. I came from the UK.."
