Positive side:
There's electric jug provided, even though no tea/coffee sachet there.
TV functions well.
Three mirrors including one in the bathroom.
There's a wardrobe but not enough space to hang the towels.
Got air conditioner n fan.
Negative side:
The room was quite small for triple.
The double and single bed were combined together😔.
The toilet was dirty especially the toilet bowl, there were stains everywhere ☹️.
Only two lamps in the room without bed lamp, one switch for them.
No lift... Luckily our room is only on the second floor.

Hotel facilited with fridge, tv, aircon abit slow bt works awhile to cool, but good after awhile. Instant kopi, green tea bags, mineral water & toothpaste/brush, general soaps provided. Hotel is a few steps frm lobby to a kerabat coffeeshop- anytime for kopi ikat tepi, & surrounding are great bazaars at the front pitched at evening, left is pahlawan bazaar of ur nice dodol, keropoks, chincaloks shopping & malls & shopping ctr front & safari themed Karaoke at hotel’s right area. Dnt forget Menara taming sari just across hotel abt 50m to experience. All is so convenient & accessible & Bus coach at escadia hotel was also a 10mins less walk. Definitely needs a good walking shoes, walk all day/night frm jonker street bazaar to melaka river cruise & historics sites. Thank u Hotel Explorer, our Melacca stay with you was a nice one

The reception team were exceptionally friendly!
The hotel Is nice. It was very clean and the room was good. There are a few things that could be renovated, like the plug socket and shower head, but I would stay again.
There was apparently an issue with the aircon which they informed me about when I checked in, but this was never an issue.
The location is exceptional. It is a 30 second walk to Jonker street and there are restaurants, bars, coffee shops and cultural attractions in every direction you walk from the hotel.
Great find, would recommend.

A 2-year old boutique hotel. Super friendly staff, love the nice Perankan deco around the hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows with standard room amenities. Love the shower gel fragrance. Free movie screening nightly at the courtyard; good place to relax with a drink and snacks while watching movie. Good location, walking distance to Jonker St but away from the buzzling noise. Highly recommended and will book this hotel again.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for my family vacation. My family has 2 small children, we had a great time here. The family apartment is very spacious, comfortable, clean. The apartment building has a swimming pool for adults and children. There was a problem with the door lock in the living room bathroom, but it was fixed by the owner the next day. It was not a problem. We really like this type of accommodation. We will come back next time.

Hi, we taught had booked a hotel room at Grandeur Hotel & Spa but end up with a shoplot rooms wt a different budget hotel under same management so called ”Avaria Hotel”. Its just a queen size bedroom provided not as booked room earlier, don't have lift only staircase to 2nd flr so get ready to carry your heavy luggage & pls purchase mineral botol since u have to walk downstairs to refill fr waterfilters provided, bedsheets looks quite old but ok clean... Just nice for a night stay, bathroom is ok wt hot shower filter, nearest food restaurants & a strategic place to city centre

GGuest UserIt was great!!! Such a u unique hotel! Everyone is so lovely and friendly. But I do think the breakfast service was a little slow mainly due to lack of staff I think.
Hotel room was just phenomenal!!! So beautiful! Majestic indeed!
The air conditioning is a little weak for my liking but all in all it was a great stay. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in malacca.

First, the cleanliness left something to be desired. We were surprised to find strawberries and a sandwich left behind by the previous guest in our room’s fridge, which made us question the attention to detail in housekeeping.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and provided good service whenever we needed assistance. However, the check-in and check-out processes were frustratingly slow compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at, which detracted from the overall experience.
The highlight of this hotel is its location. It’s very convenient for getting to various attractions and spots around the area, which made our trip more enjoyable.
Overall, while the location and staff service were positive aspects, improvements in cleanliness and efficiency are needed for a better guest experience.

CCAROLINE MARY LAIWow, this hotel is really clean. I love clean hotel. Thank you Asiatic Hotel : housekeeping team for keeping the rooms so clean. I love this hotel and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel. I love their design of their rooms too. Very comfortable and have lot of places to put our things in organised way. They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. Thank you Asiatic Hotel for your hospitality and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel.

- This hotel is strategically located within the Little India, and also within walking distance to the Dutch Square and Jonker Street.
- There is plenty of F&B options available nearby.
- It has a private gantry carpark for guests, which is good and safe.
- The room is spacious with 2 queens and 1 single, the aircon is cool and also comes with a ceiling fans.
Cons:
- There is no bellboy to welcome you or carry your luggage to the room.
- The exterior of the hotel is nice. However, the lift is old and stuffy, the corridor and interior of the room are outdated, need some refurbishment.
- Open carpark subject to rain and shine.

RRUI QIGreat location if you’re going to Malacca by coach bc it’s right at the pickup/drop off point outside hatten hotel. Hotel came with bedroom slippers, amenities like shampoo/conditioner/body wash, disposable toothbrush, and bottled water which was appreciated. The room itself isn’t the cleanest because there was a lot of dust all around. There were also stains on the couch in the suite.
Breakfast was just downstairs, simple but nothing fancy. Good part was the egg options. The coffee machine was broken for quite awhile on both days of our stay during breakfast. Met quite a few staff who were friendly and nice - cleaning lady on level 6, the concierge staff who helped us store our bags and guy who was fixing the coffee machines on both days. Overall an okay stay for a family trip to Malacca but would hope to have cleaner rooms!
