First time staying in a hostel and was an amazing experience. Met some really cool people during my time here. The rooftop bar and bar crawls make it very easy to meet new people. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and everyone was super respectful at night with minimal noise and phone torches only (although I guess this is a little luck of the draw). Very central location, too! I would highly recommend this hostel!

Most important point - we will stay here again when we return to Malaga if they have rooms available! Pleasant tourist hotel. The rating is relative to the hotel class and price - luxury hotels of course exist and are nicer but in my experiences in Europe, this is a 'best in class.' Nice spacious and clean rooms. Excellent and helpful staff and everyone had a high level of English so we could forego our poor Spanish. The staff helped us extend our reservation through a fully booked Saturday night AND found a way to keep us in the same rooms.

So us crazy americans parked and got towed next to this AC Marriott Malaga. We went in to desk and a really nice gal named Aitana helped us find who towed us, got us a taxi to tow yard, spoke with the taxi driver. We picked up our car in less than 15 min, She was so helpful, We were not staying there. She never asked if we were Marriott members (we are lifetime titanium) etc. These are the kind of employees we need everywhere. Thank you Aitana!!!

From a travel point of view this alternative lifestyle hostel/Capsule hotel is a refreshing change from the norm . I have stayed several times mainly because I love Málaga and the Malagueta Playa is so convenient for many attractions ~ Muelle Uno and the Port,restaurants and bars and 15 minutes walk to the fabulous Alcazaba, Teatro Romana Amphitheatre and Gibralfaro Mirador entrance and the Historic Quarter. I enjoy most of the facilities of Futurotel and am Hugely impressed at the Hard Work of the ' Small' staff team of dedicated people Recently I heard that 3 staff members were summarily dismissed by the Cash oriented conscienceless Owners/ Management . I understand the Reception team have joined the Union to support their very clear case for Employees terms and conditions and fare pay. I wish them every success because it's the Reception/Housekeeping team that makes the Futurotel a success. I URGE any Clients/Guests to consider this and Question the Punitive activities of the owner against this hard working Hotel Family. You have my Love, Support and understanding.~ Stephany, Maria , Celia, Javi, Luis, Antonio..etc~ Silvia,Myerlin, Maria ( unfairly sacked staff ) . Very friendly staff and fabulous atmosphere. Right in the middle of central Malaga. Spotlessly clean. Lots of amenities like fridges, kettles, toasters. Big communal space. Cool cafe. Chargers, clean shared bathrooms.

Hotel location is very good, out of the hotel door is a variety of bus stations, you can go directly to the long-distance bus station, very convenient! The hotel is on a bustling shopping street, and many big-name specialty stores are around! From here, walk to the beach and pier and the birthplace of Picasso is very close! The building where the hotel is located is very luxurious, not like a hotel, just like a LV shop! There are three people, they are very comfortable to sleep, and there are hair dryers, except for slippers, so you don’t have to bring these with you! The front desk of the hotel is a gentleman of his father's age. It is especially graceful and English is also very good! Staying here is convenient, comfortable, and the family is enough, as long as you don't expect to be the kind of five-star luxury hotel, the price is very high! Share a photo of the pier!
