Simple but clean hotel. Very good welcome. No outside noise. A little noise however caused by customers returning late but this is normal in an old building. Perfect bedding. What more could you ask for given the price paid?

Small rooms, furnished in a poor and old way. Our room (n° 31) even had a broken shower support (so we were forced to shower with only one hand because the other was used to hold the shower!), there wasn't even a paltry shelf on which to place the shower. bottle of shampoo or soap during the shower, not to mention the towels (only one rather small towel, about 70x100cm which serves as a towel for the face and for the shower), blind bathroom without even the rag of a vacuum cleaner for replacement of air, mattress that felt like sleeping on a waterbed due to how much it "sinked"), gloomy and poorly lit reception and "smell of old" throughout the entire structure. A real disappointment... The hotel's wi-fi which, on the third floor, worked whenever it wanted... Ah, I forgot. WITHOUT ELEVATOR AND WITH PRETTY STEEP STAIRS. NEVER AGAIN in that hotel.

Room recently repainted, windows that soundproof well from the street. The doors to the rooms, however, are jammed, they let through a lot of noise, you can hear people climbing the stairs (wooden, noisy). Overall we had a good time, the area has its charm, the metro is just a few minutes walk away.
