Excellent small hotel. The cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in! Good choice of food for buffet breakfast, caters for all tastes. Friendly and helpful staff. Good views both back and front of the building. The front terrace overlooks the lake and mountains and our balcony at the back looked out at mountains. Small drawbacks - for me - no lift and I have problems with my knees, but I coped. Could possibly do with a small fridge in the room, but not an absolute necessity. I would recommend this small family run hotel.

Stayed here recently for a wedding and was so pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. After ready the reviews we were a little worried but all for nothing! The hotel is very small but tastefully decorated and very clean! The breakfast in the morning is simple but delicious with so many lovely hand made treats! We arrived at the hotel early and expected to have to store luggage somewhere (as is the norm in most hotels) however the lady on reception told us our room was all ready and instantly gave us the keys! Very welcome after our early morning flight. The 2 ladies running the hotel were very polite and friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a room on the back (we requested a quiet room). We had amazing views of the cable car running up the mountains. It was very quiet and the only noise we notice was the bin lorry one morning around 8am. My only slight niggle would be that the air con is controlled by the owners and they only turn it on in the evenings. Did not impact our stay at all (as I’m always cold anyway) but is something to consider if you tend to pop back in the middle of the day in the summer and would want/expect the air con to be on. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We stayed at hotel peler for 2 weeks from 14th June till 28th June 2023. We felt that we were given the worst room in the hotel, it was very small and was situated at the side of the hotel with a horrible view of a factory type building. It was very hot and they did not put the air con on until 5 pm on an evening till 10am which meant if you wanted to go back to your room before then it was far too hot. The control for the air con was set so you couldn't make it any cooler. The breakfast terrace was lovely with lovely views but it was closed off at 9pm until 8 am so if you wanted to sit out on the terrace after 9pm then you couldn't. We went on a trip one day and had to leave early we asked if we could have breakfast just 10 mins earlier and they said no. They did put us a breakfast bag up but it only had 2 slices of dried bread in with a small carton of marinade and 1 apple and 1 banana, a small carton of orange juice and a very small cake which wasn't worth it really. At the breakfast each morning there was limited fruit! One morning I walked from the breakfast buffet with 4 biscuits 2 for myself and 2 for my husband and the owner shook her head and twisted her face at me when all we had had was toast and cereal and other guests were piling much more on their plates. There was no fridge in the rooms or kettles with tea or coffee. The shower was tiny you could hardly move to wash yourself. Our room was plain white walls with no pictures and no doors on the wardrobes, only one tiny chair. This made it feel like a youth hostel room rather than a hotel! We were never once asked how our stay was even when we checked out! Staying at this hotel took the shine of staying at Lake Garda which is a beautiful place. Not only did we have the noise from the busy road at the front of the hotel but we had the side road noise aswell of bin wagons lorrys etc! The morning we checked out we passed an empty room just down the corridor from ours which the door was open as someone else had just checked out! We peaked in and it was a bigger room with nice mirror wardrobes and a painting on the wall which was better than ours! I feel for us being there for 2 weeks we were given the smallest and the worst located room at the side of the building. We did not ask to change rooms because we don't like to make a fuss when on holiday. There was no lifts in the hotel and you had to carry your heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. We will never stay at this hotel ever again and would not recommend.

Cosy nice hotel in the center of Malcesine. Local and home made breakfast prepared by the hotel owner was an additional plus. Location is great, not far away from activities. If you arrive by car the parking is free, either in the garage or in front of the hotel. Terrace/balcony with nice view of the old town across the street. Price and quality certainly exceeded our expectation.

We had a lovely stay here at this very central hotel. Having read other reviews we were a little concerned the busy location would be noisy, but we experienced no problems at all. Our room was at the back of the hotel with a wonderful mountain view and our lovely room was more than adequate for our requirements. The breakfast, which was served on the terrace overlooking the lake, includes plenty of homemade produce and lots of choice. Having spent a lovely couple of days here we would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Malcesine. The ladies that run the hotel should be so proud as it’s lovely and clean, comfortable, and the breakfasts were superb. Great choice for such a small hotel, including rolls, eggs, hams, cheeses, home made cakes, yogurt, fruit etc. Sitting overlooking the castle and lake at breakfast was wonderful. There are some very nice restaurants nearby so you don’t have to go too far for a great meal. We would stay here again. We travelled with TUI and the rep Henry, was a star. Full of info, and a genuinely nice guy. We wish him every success with Tui.

Stayed here with my son for 5 nights. It is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in and the ladies who run it are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great for us and the location, although on a quite busy road, was ideal for accessing all of the town. We hired a car from the airport ( they didn't charge for parking ) but if you are travelling independently they will arrange a transfer to and from the airport for a nominal fee if you contact them in advance. Overall excellent.

We'd been to Malcesine 4 years ago (pre the Plague), and wanted to go somewhere "sort of familiar" for our 1st holiday abroad "post"-pandemic. This time, we wanted just B&B, deciding we'd explore the restaurants in town for evening meals. Thank you to our travel agent for suggesting Hotel Peler to us, for describing its location, facilities, etc. This is a lovely hotel, it was exactly what we were looking for. We knew exactly what to expect when we arrrived, so no surprises, just a great place to stay. This is a small, family run hotel. We found it very clean and very friendly. Excellent breakfast (and on the days when we had to leave early for excursions or to fly home, a "packed breakfast" was providied for us). The location positions it very well for many good restaurants in Malcesine - Mignon on Via Dosso being our most favourite of our stay. We'd definitely be happy to stay there again should we return to Malcesine! Thank you to Chelsea and her mum for running such a warm (!!) friendly and welcoming hotel!

Consigliato.
