This was one of our best Hotel Jen experiences anywhere in the world. In most cases, Hotel Jen stays are more functional, and we don't get the full ”Shangri-la experience”. In this case however, the experience got pretty close. Some of the positives: 1. The upgrade to the larger room was a nice touch as it gave my family of 4 a bigger space. 2. The F&B we had throughout the stay was good - my family enjoyed all our meals while we were there. 3. Most importantly, literally every single staff member we encountered during the stay was friendly and helpful, and the service was really the best part of this experience. Every person have us absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of service. Some of the more memorable individuals who stood out for us (this is not to say the other folks are not as good - just that we did not interact with them as much): Riyaz and Arun at the restaurant, and Dilshan at the front desk. 4. The breakfast spread exceeded my expectations for a Hotel Jen property. 5. The location was great. Everywhere we needed to go during our 3-night stay was within 15 minutes' walk. A couple of drawbacks though, although these would be pinned on the people who initially constructed the building rather than the people running it now: 1. The building is slightly dated/ageing, and parts of it could do with a refresh. 2. While the Executive room we stayed in was large, there was some wasted space in the room due to the irregular layout. On the whole, this was still a 5/5 experience, and the best part was really the service.

My family and I were taken care of by Kishore, who was an exceptional host. He helped us from the moment we arrived until the day we departed, always making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The Hard Rock hotel is well equipped with everything one could desire on a family vacation. The swimming pool and beach have a great atmosphere frequently filled with music events and activities. The food is top notch and very diverse. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy from a wide range of activities, such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (highly recommended), weight training center, Zumba classes and more. We will definitely return for a second round of paradise.

I had an amazing time with my boyfriend in SAii Lagoon, everyone there was so kind and lovely! They treated us like family and we felt so welcomed. During check-in I met “Jack”, he is so friendly, professional and extremely helpful! Also he speaks fluent mandarin and English which is a plus for Chinese tourists who struggles with English. At the restaurant/pool bar “Mr. Tom Yam” we’ve met some amazing staffs there, always happy to see us and they served us with the most delicious cocktails and food! We were always so happy to see “Eli & Sam”, they gave us the best suggestions when we couldn’t decide on what to get, you won’t be disappointed for sure whether is food or drinks! They knew what we wanted before even telling them which was a plus! And behind the bar you have the best mixologist called “Joseph” he made us AMAZING cocktails I swear is one of the BEST ones I’ve ever tasted so far! They would always greet and smile. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who wants to go there. Before leaving I met “Tharaka” she was so lovely, kind and helpful! Everyone was so lovely, friendly and professional! Will be back to this place soon! Although the room is not big, it is fully functional. I didn't expect that the manager would take a room tour. He explained the various functions in detail. There was also a welcome drink, and breakfast was specially packed for me. The pick-up and drop-off service was also very reassuring. It was really considerate:

I would definitely stay at Club Blu whenever I visit Hulhumale'. The staffs are friendly,polite and helpful, towels and room was very clean. Other than those two amenities, it is overall an excellent place to stay in Hulhumale'.mr.Muhammad is good managing but mr.Jamal best of the best. Very helpful guy's. Thank you for everything.

Meets expectations. It has air conditioning, which is very important for the Maldivian climates. Price accordingly. The bathroom was not in the room but separate, although it is for private use of the room, meaning it is not shared with anyone. The room is small but perfect for a night before the trip. Excellent location. Good airport transfer service.

It feels quite close to Male Airport, take a taxi and cross a bridge, then shuttle in the alleys, it takes about 10-15 minutes to arrive. The boss is a German who has lived in the Maldives for more than ten years. Two days before the arrival day, the boss Thomas began to contact us by email, including when we arrived, how much luggage, how many people and so on. After customs clearance on the day of arrival, Thomas' staff has already picked up the guests with a sign at the hotel entrance (free pick-up service is included in my reservation). He greeted us at the door before arriving at his small hotel. Very polite and caring. If there is no problem with your communication needs, the boss Thomas will give you a lot of tips for traveling on the island, such as how much local currency is appropriate to exchange, what local regulations are there, and so on. It is very important that this hotel should be the best Thai restaurant on Male Island. Very authentic thanks to the owner Thomas should have some stories in Thailand, there is no gossip about the specifics. If you eat a meal in person, the boss will recommend and serve you personally. Don't order too much. The next day we went to the resort island. It was a very pleasant day to stay in this hotel on Male Island. It is very convenient to buy swimming goggles, clothes, shoes and other necessary items in the hotel. In Muslim countries, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited, you can ask the boss.

The hotel lobby is warm and cool, and the elevator is fast and clean. The hotel is not too new but it is very clean everywhere, and the facilities are easy to use. The room is not big but bright. The balcony can see the busy Male Airport, as well as various speedboats and ferries coming and going. The bedding is very clean, and the quilt is not thick, just right. There are conditioners, electric kettles, and everything you need. The ladies and brothers at the front desk, the dining room, and the luggage delivery are all gentle and lovely. Especially the manager who picked us up at the airport was punctual and enthusiastic, which made people feel at ease.

After a bad experience this holiday booking somewhere on the other island opposite Male for our forward journey, I was getting my hopes up! But upon arriving at Somerset we were greeted with smiles, a drink and cold towels. Not to mention the lovely driver who gave us some information on the city during the drive from the airport. The hotel, by any standard, ticks all the boxes! The restaurant has the best food and after walking around the street we decided we wouldn’t eat anywhere else. The staff go above and beyond and were friendlier than the island resort we’d spent 5 days at. This was the first time we actually wanted to ‘tip’ the staff. The room has everything you need. Yes the air conditioner in the main room smells a bit but it’s the same in Bali. It can’t be helped with the humidity! And the other comment about the call to prayer noise, you’re coming to a country that has their own traditions and I can’t see why you wouldn’t be respectful of that. Thanks for a fantastic stay and I will definitely be recommending to other friends.

Overall stay is good . Staffs are lovely. Always greet with a smile. Hotel rooms are spacious. Has a lovely view . However rooms are bit old . Manhattan is also famous for the delicious food . But the hotel breakfast is below average. Food and variety was not hoot at all . Had no fresh juice . Instead there was processed juice . Nescafé coffee was there but milk was powder. I was very surprised to see it . I used cold full cream milk from cereal station as there was only full cream milk. No oat or almond milk . Food is not refilled when it’s finished During my last stay in September I had problem with noise from outside of my room. I did not complain about it but it was kinda construction or a vacuum sound . I’ll definitely return back. Would love to see a good change and improvement
