Best location to stay in the island where amenities are easier than south of the island located hotels. An 80's designed hotel but security is good.Rooms are quite small but with magnetic card door locks. No water heater. Two minutes walk to Jollibee fast food and five minutes ride to the central market.Local tourism authority is a 5 minute wakk.
Agoho Resort

It's about 7️⃣ to 🔟minutes by TukTuk from the airport. It's located a little to the north and west. The resort's own garden can directly see the white island. The garden is also very beautiful. I stayed at this resort for four nights and five days, one night. It is a room facing the seaside garden where you can directly see the coral white sand island. It is very enjoyable. There is a huge toilet, sofa, kitchen, refrigerator, etc. The room has air conditioning, TV, ceiling fan, toilet, ventilation fan, etc. Toiletries can also be provided upon request. The boss is a Westerner, who looks like someone from France and Italy. The wife of the boss is a local and seems to be a very capable woman. The overall service is very good, but because of the island relationship, power outages and network instability are very common things, as island players know (luxury hotels like Madai are not included in the comparison). If there is no internet in the evening, go and chat with the waiter at the English corner. There is a tall waitress with a nice smile. She is lively and fun. She is a fan of domestic idol dramas. She is shy when talking about Chinese male stars. Face. The recommended dinner of chicken and mushroom pasta was the best thing I had in that time (see picture). They are also very active in planning and helping to order TukTuk or multicab. We even got to know each other later and even helped me inquire about the price of the Cebu city tour after I left the hotel, which was very considerate. The hotel guests are mainly Westerners and middle-class local guests. There is also a motorcycle rental service (it is recommended that you know how to drive a motorcycle and have a domestic driver's license. For others, it is recommended to rent a driver because there are many mountain roads and it is not safe).

Nypa Style Resort Camiguin

After checking maybe all beachfront resorts, I can say with confidence that this is the best place to stay on the island, surely for the midrange resorts! As I travel most of the time, I already know the feeling when I arrive to a place and I just feel that it’s the perfect place for me. There are several types of Nipa bungalows, differ in sizes but they are all beautiful, well attended and maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable and inviting. Every small detail in the bungalows shows the touch of love from the owners. The bungalows are apart from each other and you have your privacy in the tranquil atmosphere of the beautiful garden nestled in the beautiful nature of Camiguin. The kind, lovely and most helpful owners (Ilenia and Stefano), live here and that for sure makes the whole difference. The Italian restaurant on the premises, serves delicious Italian food and home made pastry in a quality that surely is very hard to achieve in such a remote island- but they do it in every single meal again and again. When I finish my day of traveling and feel so happy to come back to my amazing bungalow, I know that I found “my place” and that it will be hard to leave until the next time I’ll surely come back. True, it’s not a beach front resort and that’s the reason that I checked almost all beach front resorts on the island, but comparing to the beach front options that I saw, I had no doubt that Nipa style resort, is the best choice. Driving the rented motorbike, will take me anywhere and any beach or waterfall and ocean view in the island. And anyhow, the beauty of the island is superb, but the beaches are not the main reason to come to this island (not the best beaches in the Philippines), but the overall beauty, good vibe and uniqueness of this volcano island, is what makes it so special and enjoyable. As I said, for me, there is not really a doubt that it’s the best place to stay in Camiguin! Thank you Ilenia, Stefano and the team of the resort, for such a great time in your amazing place 🙏🙏
SomeWhere Else Boutique Resort

Amazing resort at Camiguin island, Jerome is super host. Beautiful resort with beautiful people/staff. They take care every single bits of your daily needs. The rooms are big and beautifully designed, love it to every bit details they put. You dont need to buy water since they put the water dispenser at the room, coffee, tea at your choice for free. Super super love with their services. We got 2 rooms since we are 6 in the family, we are dog lovers, so this an adding points for us. Jerome told us the story how he rescued the dogs, amazing guy with a golden heart. Btw you can eat breakfast at anytime, they will prepare it once you are ready for it, unlike in other resorts, they have the limited time. This is an adding points if you are late riser. In our case, we need to go early since we have the sea activities, so we requested them to prepare it early and no huss at all. What I love the most was, the privacy, only 3 villas, so if you need to unwind and just relax with your family and loved ones, this is the best place to be. Looking forward for our next visit here. Keep it up Jerome 🤗
Guerrera Rice Paddy Villas

It is very beautiful here, a green rice field, with the right flowers and plants, and the beach on the other side, the villa is very coordinated overall. Hotel rooms are small, small and beautiful. The garden view villa is like a hanging building, with a bathtub on the balcony, and an outdoor sofa on the balcony on the other side. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with hot showers, and the balcony can also see the sea view and you can take a walk on the hotel's beach. The hotel has a nest of yellow and white shorthaired cats, very cute. There are also cockroaches and dogs. The waiter was very welcoming and the service was good. Welcome drinks were provided at check-in. The breakfast booked is 350p per serving. You can choose from 5 breakfasts. The category is not rich enough. The Filipino breakfast is mainly served on the balcony. You need to use the instant coffee provided in the room for breakfast. The villa is soundproofed and the drumming outside is heard. The network here is intolerable to me, and the hotel's WIFI24 cannot access the Internet for an hour! The mobile phone Global signal is weak, most of the time can not access the Internet, can not upload documents. During the stay, there was an important remote work. I could take my mobile phone to explore around to see where there was a network signal. It turned out that the global signal of the hotel next to it was very good, and I finished my work outside the hotel next to it. I would not choose here if I knew this network status when booking a room. The hotel introduction page does not provide a truthful description of this network status.
