Margaritaville Vacation Club - Rio Mar

And still our number one place to go. Love all the staff, like family. Especially our guys Christian and Anthony at 5 O’clock. They are the best. They are always there for us. And the classic margaritas extra salt are amazing just ask Christian or Anthony to make them.

The property is sprawling and well maintained. Restaurants had all just been renovated. Menu choices and prices are pretty standard for resort food. Nothing disappointed, but nothing was awesome. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Very spacious, clean and the full kitchen was well stocked. We had an exceptional stay here, but I must comment that most of the rooms @ the adjacent Wyndham property were being renovated. So although we were there during what would be a crowded week - there was always a stool @ any of the bars, no wait @ any of the restaurants & the pool/beach areas were not overcrowded. Special kudos to the crew at the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Anthony, Xavier and the rest of the bar staff were awesome. Special shout out to Wanda in the kitchen for keeping us well fed!

Wonderful, relaxing stay in PR! Beautiful grounds, pools and beach. Very clean all around and 1 BR suite was quiet and comfortabl. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well--Shout out to Jesse James and Dallismar! Resort is across the street from El Yunque and just down the road from Luquillo Beach and the kioskos (amazing food and drinks right on the beach). Can't say enough about it!

We’re just finishing up a great week at Margaritaville Rio Mar. This is a beautiful property with lovely landscaping, three nice pools and a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed playing in the waves when it was calm enough. Our timeshare suite was roomy but in need of updating. I was told they are renovating the hotel rooms and will be renovating the timeshare suites soon. The staff were generally friendly and the service was mostly fine. We did have a bit of trouble at Roots Coastal Kitchen. The room was cold and noisy, so we weren’t very comfortable. After 15 minutes of sitting at our table with no acknowledgment we left and went back to Five O’Clock Somewhere bar and grill. We really liked this spot and had several dinners there. Drinks and food were delicious and service was pretty good. We did the timeshare presentation and got $125 room credit, which paid for our parking. It was a typical timeshare presentation, went on longer than the promised 90 minutes, but wasn’t too pushy and they accepted our no pretty easily. A couple of hours wasted but worth it for the room credit. We had some issues with our air conditioning but it was fixed after a couple of visits by maintenance. Special shout out to Bianca, who we met on our first evening at the resort. She is a biologist who does nature walks but also helps out at the pools. We enjoyed chatting with her! Overall it was a very good week.

My mom and I just got back from out 2nd trip to Margaritaville at Rio Grande and it was amazing. The views are amazing. The beach is beautiful and there's miles of it. The staff were amazing throughout the resort. Zandra was so helpful and amazing and made our stay even more spectacular. I'd like to say thanks again to Angela and Dalismar for helping me with my phone crisis after I'd already checked out. I might not have made it on my flight home without their help. Can't wait to go back!

The property is gorgeous the rooms large and comfortable with kitchenette. The staff are friendly and helpful. Joel from recreation was a real standout he took time to share information about the properties and restaurants and answer several questions. He is very personable and likeable young man. Definitely an asset to your property.
