Generally a lovely hotel and very good for a 3*. Lots of sun loungers and places to sit with a drink etc. The hotel is set in a beautiful location set up high over looking a very pretty beach and you can watch the sun rise. There are 80 steps down to the beach and lots of coastal walks for those that like a walk. Public transport just outside of the hotel and very regular and on time Food very good with lots of choice and variety. Rooms clean and well presented but fairly basic, only a shower gel in the bathroom no soap or any other little extras. Staff very pleasant. There was entertainment in the day and evening although this was very geared to our French friends. We were able to join in and the staff were very talented with their languages. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location with stunning views although lots of steps down to beach and even to pool with no lift so not suitable for anyone with real mobility problems. Very clean, food lovely and plenty of choice. Staff very helpful. Entertainment was aimed at French holiday makers rather than English but we did join in with daytime activities around the pool. All in all a great peaceful break in the October sunshine. Would recommend this hotel and may even come back ourselves.

Fabulous resort with the right balance of all inclusive offerings without being overcrowded or too loud. Lots on for those who'd like to join in without feeling pressured and entertainment until 11pm which worked really well. We went as a large family group in August 2024 & really enjoyed it. The beautiful beach is only a small stroll away, which have lifeguards and a small cafe nearby - cash only there although you can pay for sunbeds by card. the animation team are really inclusive & fun and offer a host of activities through day and night. The food and selection was fab and the chefs really care, happy to help wherever they can. Whilst the rooms are starting to appear a little dated I.e shower a little leaky the Housekeeping are really lovely and the are rooms clean. The only two constructive pieces of feedback we'd share would be; 1. No baby change facilities - would be awesome if these can be added 2. Evening entertainment is done by the pool. Whilst this makes a beautiful setting it had us parents on edge! Perhaps the kids disco etc could be done set back a little more or in the sun bed areas Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is 100% the worst hotel i have ever visited.I would strongly advise against staying here. Overall, the hotel's cleanliness is shocking and the vast majority of the rooms in this hotel have black mould around the balcony doors. When we asked to switch rooms due to black mould, the 'head of reception' was rude and refused to help us with our query almost suggesting that we were being over the top about the issue despite my explaining that I have asthma so black mould is a very serious issue for me. This was then escalated to the hotel manager who agreed that this hotel has a problem with mould and showed us around 2 rooms that we could move to that were equally as humid if not worse. The hotel receptionist has to have been one of the worst customer service representatives I have ever dealt with. Her attitude, demeanor, and mannerisms were provocative and extremely difficult to deal with. In my opinion she single-handedly managed to let the entire hotel staff down with the way she treated guests and seemingly other members of staff. the general grounds of this hotel are dated, neglected, and unclean. All-inclusive is a complete con as the hotel bar in the lobby was never open throughout our stay, the pool bar one of the evenings had run out of vodka and orange juice and you were expected to bring your cups back to the bar to be given another drink during the day (seemingly due to a lack of staff) I have cited some pictures that we managed to gather during our stay

Lovely hotel, good food and all the staff were super friendly. Big thank you to Lehsene on reception who went above and beyond for us, even offering to take us to the airport when our Jet2 transfer was late. The only con is the hotel needs more mirrors in the rooms and ladies bathrooms throughout. Would definitely recommend this hotel though x

The hotel itself I cant really fault. It's kinda you get what you pay for. The room was clean yet the bedroom very compact and bed was small. The food etc was all good, lots of choices. Only issue with this was at dinner the coffee and beer machines where turned off and I didn't see anyone serving at the front inside bar. So if you was elderly or unable to walk up lots of steps down to the pool bar you wasn't getting a drink. I have no idea why they where off or the bar not staffed. I mean we was all inclusive. Lots I'd trips to go on near by and bus route drops off right outside. Pool and pool area very clean and lots of sun loungers chairs etc. Cocktails at pool bar are not worth buying as they come out the machine.

Me and my partner came to this hotel on the 14th June and got back early hours this morning. We paid nearly £2000 altogether and we paid for a suite room, because that was all Jet2 was offering. The room was meant to have a lateral sea view and it didn’t, you could see the sea from a tiny distance, the balcony was blocked by a building. It was also just very eerie and out of the way. The room number was 302 and you had 2 sets of really steep stairs, the room just seemed off. Unfortunately I didn’t take any images of the room because I just wanted to get out of there. Fair play to Samantha one of the receptionists, she let us move room straight away, and she put us in room 205. 205 however was the room right behind reception, this room didn’t even have a number. It looked like a store cupboard, like you wouldn’t even think it was a room. After we moved into the room 205, everything just seemed to get worse and worse. The balcony door wouldn’t lock, the balcony itself was filthy, the aircon was releasing warm air and not cold air, they refused to give us hangars for the first 2 days so we had to make 3 hangars last us and one morning we even got locked in our room from the inside. The lock got stuck and this then resulted in us missing breakfast. Everything got fixed eventually, but it’s just issue after issue. Me and my partner are 18 and 19, we just wanted to chill out. Moving onto the reps, there’s 2 ladies who actually try and get people involved, other than the rest do absolutely nothing. I wish I could walk around my work and do absolutely nothing lmao. Me and my partner aren’t bothered about the entertainment, but I’m writing this because if you’ve got children yourself, they’re obviously going to want to see the entertainment and stuff. If you’re French in this hotel then you’ll be fine because the reps will talk to you, if you’re English however then forget about it lol. No word of a lie, these people would just walk straight pass us. Very rude staff. I’d like you all to picture what I’m about to say to you now. So picture this, I go up to the bar and ask for one San Miguel and one Cava, waiter pours me half a cup of San Miguel and half of a cup of Cava, so that’s like half a cup of lemonade and half of a cup of coke all in the same cup aha. It was obvious he was trying to take the mickey and soon as i confronted him, he claimed he knew no English which made me laugh. Another thing with the entertainment too, because the euros are on some nights they’d just cancel entertainment when France are playing that night, they’d also show the football to the French on a huge projector screen, but we only got to watch England on some small, rubbish tv lol. When we was leaving yesterday, I noticed there’s a bigish screen now upstairs, so we’re not the only ones who have said something. It’s just double standards, they didn’t give a toss about us aha. On our last day yesterday, we had to check out at 12 and we was getting picked up at 20:00ish. Littl

Great hotel, basic but everything was done well. We had a two bedroom apartment and were more than happy with it. Mostly French speaking people when we were there who the animation team seemed to interact with most but we don’t go away to experience an animation team. Very very relaxed and beds always available. If you want a quiet, relaxed break this is definitely the place. Cala mendia itself is also stunning and only a short walk away. Everything I would expect from a 3 star. I will return and felt safe enough that I would return as a solo traveller. Food selection was fantastic, always fresh protein available and lots of extra touches to enhance your meal. The bus to Porto Cristo was great. Staff were all more than friendly and as we were being picked up in the evening they managed to accommodate us keeping our room and our all inclusive for a reasonable fee. Well done Cala mandia!
