Riolavitas Spa & Resort Hotel

The Team is amazing, the Location is fantastic and all inclusive feels really all inclusive. Mike the German Manager is an amazing Guy. We played a few rounds of games together and had a lot to laugh. Greet him if you get the chance and have a nice Holiday here!

We’re currently still at the hotel, but unfortunately, the experience so far has been very disappointing. I’d struggle to call this a 5-star resort — realistically, it feels more like a 3-star at best. On our first morning, we were woken at 8:30am by a call reminding us of an 11:30am meeting we were already informed about. Not exactly the welcome we were hoping for. The food is one of the weakest points. Breakfast is basic with limited options — not great, but not unexpected for a hotel. Lunch is slightly better at the beach bar, although the menu never changes. Dinner has been consistently poor. There is a grill section at the back of the main restaurant, but quality varies. We tried the à la carte Italian restaurant and were very disappointed. Starters were already laid out on the table and left sitting out — they were warm and unappetising. The steak was so overcooked it was inedible, and we were told that it was just "well done." The cutlery was dirty, and when we requested clean replacements, the waiter responded rudely and dropped them on the table with attitude. The general appearance of the staff is unprofessional — uniforms are often grubby. One particular incident really disturbed us: a bartender at the pool bar was making inappropriate gestures (like blowing kisses) toward very young girls, which was extremely uncomfortable to witness. Rooms appear okay at first glance, but a closer look reveals issues such as grime in the showers and peeling wallpaper. Outside the restaurant there’s a very noticeable urine smell, which is unpleasant. Entertainment is very underwhelming. There are lots of small children running around until quite late at night (sometimes as late as midnight). Every morning at 10am, there's a loud cockerel sound coming from a nearby hotel — not ideal for a peaceful stay. The spa was a pleasant surprise — we had a lovely hamam treatment. The on-site beauty/hair salon was also good; we had hair braiding and wash/blow-drys done well. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away, so you don’t need to rely on the buggy service. This resort is far from 5-star standards. It has some redeeming features, but overall, the food, cleanliness, staff professionalism, and general experience fall well short of expectations. If you do plan to stay here, be prepared to claim your sunbeds early — many guests reserve them and never use them.

Sit back this is going to be a long one. We were sold a dream. 5* more like 2.5*/3*. On arrival the reception staff was very rude and seemed like they were inconvenienced that we was checking in. To be presented with very basic room, two single beds placed together not ideal if you're a couple, the pillows were like bricks. Also the very botch job decorating was extremely noticeable. As it was my partners 40th birthday I had previously contacted the hotel to get the room decorated to which it wasn't, the next morning I went down to reception which had new staff on again the woman was very rude and abrupt, huffed at me when I asked why it wasn't decorated etc, she shrugged her shoulders and wrote down my room number in the afternoon of that day we had a plate of fruit banged in our room on the bed and some cheap wine which was like vinegar, on that note there was no zero alcohol options other than fizzy pop. The pool areas aren't kept clean & you need to set an alarm for 5.30am to race down to get a bed as EVERYONE goes down to what seemed like the middle of the night to claim a bed. The food was absolutely shocking and lacked flavour. I lived off salad and feta cheese for a week as everything else seemed to be bland and repetitive. The L'carte restaurant was also terrible as it was all food from lunch served up and served to you rather than the self service down stairs at the main restaurant. The pool side bar with snack wasn't kept clean and the chef/ waiter was fingering the food with no gloves on. The entertainment was atrocious! I've had more fun at a kids school play. The location of this hotel feels like a million miles away from anything & a taxi cost €15 and nowhere likes to accept TL. We were sold excursions in completely different areas, one which was quad biking was 1.5 hours away €45 per person for the privilege. The boat trip we were sold €45 per person, the return home transfer didn't arrive and was told we would be stopping at all the different places, we sailed round to side beach ate food and jumped off the boat to come back. Again completely miss sold by a love holidays rep. You can leave the hotel and find cheaper around. The Turkish bath was absolutely horrendous, I've had several of these in the past as I've always loved coming to Antalya. The lady that gave me my Turkish bath, was African. Not very authentic. Also told me my muscles in my legs hurt because I need to lose weight, when I explained to her i stand on my feet all day for a living and have recently lost 31kg she sniggered and said I need to lose more. The man on the front of the spa is very rude and pushes treatments on you & likes to make up a load of stuff on the spot. Would avoid at all costs. The hair salon on site is awful- my partner had a "Turkish" shave. My partner had to remind him to change the blade in his disposable cut throat & change the towel from the guy before him, the man that gave the shave was very rough

I stayed at Riolavitas from the 4th - 7th of June and was disappointed with my stay. I have been to other 5* all inclusive in Antalya however this hotel didn’t measure up was more 3* than 5* The hotel itself was modern and clean with the lobby area being well looked after Rooms: I have no complaints with the room it was clean and spacious enough with a mini bar stocked throughout our stay, I would note that the tv didn’t work great with most satellite channels being unavailable and the firestick we brought from home wasn’t compatible. Pool: The pool area was clean and well maintained we never struggled to find sun loungers at any point Food: The food wasn’t great, lunch was probably the best meal however all food was very repetitive and somewhat bland, definitely not upto a 5 star standard Drinks: The alcohol was good with mostly branded drinks being used Absolut vodka havana club ect. The cocktails were okay with about 6 options to choose from Staff: The staff is what really brought my rating and experience down. The receptionists were very abrupt and seemed very annoyed on approach definitely not the best welcome to the hotel. The man who runs the spa also came across quite rude, when collecting beach towels I heard him tell one women she looked “old and tired” and commented on another womens face saying it was very fat. I think this was his technique to upsell his spa treatments however came across very rude and the women were visibly uncomfortable. The entertainment staff was some of the worst I have experienced, very unenthusiastic and looked fed up making no effort to interact with anyone. One female staff member in particular was very unpleasant who was telling us it was “haram and disgusting” for us to be drinking alcohol before 5pm which we didn’t appreciate. The same staff member also told us that we were “lazy and pathetic” for not wanting to take part in aqua aerobics. Which again wasn’t appreciated. A new team of entertainment staff were there our final day not sure if this is a new team or just other staff but they were significantly better just a shame they arrived when we were leaving. Location: the location of the hotel isnt great and is located in the middle of nowhere its about a 30 minute walk to any sort of restaurants/shops Entertainment: the entertainment needs a lot of work with the shows mostly consisting of the animation team doing mediocre dances just themed differently, the entertainment also started quite late normally 10pm and only lasted for 30mins. This is disappointing considering there was no alternative nightlife near the area. Overall the stay wasn’t great if you are looking for an all inclusive in side I would recommend elsewhere for more or less the same price

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise Everything was so clean and well taken care of. staff was amazing so friendly and always happy to chat or help out. Our room was bright and comfy, and we loved the little touches like fresh flowers and local snacks. atmosphere was peaceful, and we felt so relaxed the whole time. It was exactly what we needed. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Amazing hotel, super drinks, perfect food, super beach , close to city by bus, beautiful rooms, everywhere was cleany, i can’t say nothing bad about this hotel because everything was really perfect. everyday animations on the beach and music
