We booked here for a couple of nights prior to heading south and it is a perfect spot if you are crossing to France on the Poole Cherbourg ferry. People make places and Marie is an ideal host with a friendly, outgoing personality. All the guests turned out to be keen gardeners and Marie took us on a tour of hers, which is beautiful. We found everything we needed in our room which was spotless and the breakfast was really good. So, all in all, it is no surprise that we will be going back for a longer stay this autumn.

Stayed here with friends for 4 nights. Lovely Rural location with easy access to Bafleur just a few minutes away. This is a really nice place to stay, friendly (can’t do enough to help you hosts), very clean and modern inside. Lovely breakfasts, would really recommend this to anyone. We used Fleur & Met to visit the Normandy Beeches which proved to be an ideal base. Would definitely stay again.

A fabulous B and B, great hosts and an immaculate and clean room. Superb breakfast and a very good lounge area to use in the evening if you wished. The hosts were brilliant and very friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed.

Accueil chaleureux de Mme Marie et sa famille! Marie nous à guidé chaque jour vers une nouvelle destination à découvrir en région ce qui était très intéressant. Merci! Le logement était top, petit déjeuner produits frais fait maison 😀 chambres bien aménagées et propres! Si nous sommes dans la région on reviendra certainement. 👍

Wir waren als Paar mit unseren beiden Hunden für knapp 2 Wochen im "Fleur & Mer" - und hatten eine wunderbare entspannte Zeit dort. Das authentische Naturstein-Haus ist in einem Top-Zustand, die Zimmer alle mit individuellem Charme - und die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück am Morgen ist frisch und regional zubereitet - ein kleines Buffet mit täglich wechselnden Spezialitäten plus individuelle Wünsche zu Brot, Saft & Eiern. Unzählige Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants - und auch deren Buchung, da wir bei telefonischen Anfragen meist sprachlich komplett überfordert sind. Die sehr nette Familie wohnt getrennt von den Gästen im anderen Teil des Hauses, das einen wunderschönen Garten besitzt. Es gibt einen sehr lieben Golden Retriever und 3 ältere Katzen. Zur Umgebung: In knapp einem Kilomter ist man am Meer - hier gibt es unzählige Sandstrände, so dass man die Qual der Wahl hat. In 2,5 KIlometern ist man über Fußwege im kleinen Fischerstädtchen Barfleur, viele weitere kleine Orte liegen in der Nähe. Ganz wunderbar kann man an der Küste den Fernwanderweg GR223 laufen, einige Etappen haben wir kennengelernt und empfehlenswert ist der Abschnitt Cap Levi nach Barfleur. In den Restaurants wird hauptsächlich frischer Fisch serviert - wenn wir mal "zu Hause" essen wollten, steht der gemütliche Aufenthaltsraum mit frischem Geschirr allzeit bereit. Dort gibt es auch eine Spielecke für Kleinkinder. Alles in allem: Danke an Marie für eine wunderbare Zeit!

L'endroit est charmant et décoré avec un goût certain pour un tarif très honnête. Marie est lumineuse, elle accueille ses clients avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d'attention. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel ! A recommander pour passer un moment calme et réparateur.

Fantastische B & B. Schone kamers, heerlijk ontbijt en vriendelijke gastvrouw. We hebben er van genoten. ‘S morgens heerlijk langs het strand gewandeld naar Barfleur, ongeveer 6 km op en neer. Daarna het heerlijke ontbijt, een geweldig begin van de dag. We komen graag nog eens terug !!!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Fleur et Mer. La bâtisse et son jardin sont magnifiques et soignés. Le cadre est pittoresque et a deux pas de la mer et l'accueil merveilleux. Je recommande et nous espérons revenir bientôt!!
