Ash Street Inn

Beautiful well kept clean home!!! Rob and Margit are wonderful and breakfast just divine!! Great location and room 203 is gorgeous and fireplace the perfect touch….Highly recommend this B&B for relaxing stay full of Victorian eye candy!!

Stayed at this charming Victorian inn for 3 nights while visiting family in Manchester. Margit and Rob are super hosts - very attentive and welcoming. Made to order breakfasts by Chef Rob were a real treat. Our room & private bath were immaculate. Also enjoyed the 24-hour access to free drinks and homemade cookies. Would stay here again & highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting family in Bedford. Great central location with easy free parking. Our room & private bath had everything we needed in this beautiful Victorian house: comfortable bed, quiet room, updated private bathroom & 24 hour access to free drinks & homemade cookies. The daily free, hot, made to order breakfast was delicious with a 5 star rating!! Would stay here again & highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights. Lovely old Queen Anne (I believe) building that was owned by a Mill owner back in the day. Manchester, although a city, is more suburban than really hard core urban. This Inn is about 1/2 mile from the main street of the city. Wonderful made to order breakfasts! The innkeepers were lovely people, very hospitable. The Inn has snacks, 24 hr coffee maker you can use and there is a small fridge with beverages and some space for guests as well. Beautiful porch area where you can sit outside as the weather permits.

I visited Manchester to spend time with my sister who was recovering from surgery at Catholic Medical Center. I didn’t want to stay at a standard, sterile chain hotel. Ash Street Inn looked intriguing from my Google search, so I took a chance. The Inn was old world charming, and Margit and Rob were the perfect hosts. I adored my quiet, beautiful room with stained glass windows peeking out above a desk in a corner alcove. Everything was kept clean, and the modern amenities — from wi-fi to bathrobes to spa toiletries —- ensured a comfortable stay. Rob’s breakfasts were a highlight, and made it easier for me to face each day spent at the hospital with my sister. What could have been a debilitating journey was made into an unexpectedly positive experience. I looked forward to coming “home” at the end of each day, and even extended my stay by one night, to make it a full week. I hope to return to Manchester under more ideal circumstances, and to visit the many shops, restaurants and museum that Margit and Rob described that were within a stone’s throw of their Inn. I will definitely stay at Ash Street Inn on any future visits.

Rob and Margit have it together big time and have thought of pretty much everything one could offer in a B&B including a terrific breakfast, charming rooms, lots of little amenities, and treats scattered about the house. They gave great recommendations for local eateries and made wonderful arrangements for visits to the Currier Museum and other local venues. The location is within walking distance to the downtown business/restaurant district in a walkable residential neighborhood.
