Red Roof Inn & Suites Manchester, TN

Very clean. Front desk lady very friendly. I found the rooms clean and comfortable. We were looking for something affordable and the closer we got to Nashville the more expensive the hotel. This worked for our budget and we didn't have any safety or cleanliness issues. There isn't a breakfast option (coffee only I think) but we didn't want breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Place was really run down and there were just a lot of strangers hanging around the outside of the hotel. There were out of order signs all over the place and the room that I reserved wasn't available when I got there. I asked the front desk clerk if he knew why they were all those people hanging around outside and he said oh there's always something weird going on around here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Very satisfied with the location. Would stay there again if needed. Nice small breakfast. Check in and out was easy and the front desk guy was very nice.

I’ve never stayed at a red roof inn. I was on a three week trip sightseeing around the country out west. Because of the time of year I was booking hotels as I traveled. I had a great trip and had two bad hotel stays. I generally stay at hotels that have at least a 4.2 to 4.7 rating out of five . this was my last night on the road heading back to Georgia, and all the hotels were booked up because of spring break except this particular red roof inn. including tax my room was $100. which is a lot less than the 130 to 160 I usually pay. So my expectations were not exceptionally high but trip advisor gave it a 3.5 out of five stars so I thought it would at least be a clean. budget hotel in good condition. The staff was very courteous no matter who you talk to, but the place was filthy and worn out, and I don’t know how they got a 3.5 on TripAdvisor. I depend on TripAdvisor all the time, and it rarely lets me down, but it did this time. The tub was dirty and dingy .There was grease in the carpet and the carpet was so old that the part that’s up against the baseboard was filthy. Not only my room, but all the hallways and the stairways were beat up and dirty. The air conditioner, work fine. I would not stay at this hotel again for any price.

The Good: I was travelling back from visiting family west of Chicago. I stopped because it was well east of Nashville. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly woman at the front desk. My room was clean and without obnoxious odor. The Bad: Really not much for a low cost motel.

If you want meet the worst and the rudest receptionist in the country, you have to stay in this hole. Strong strange smell in the room. I highly recommend you to pay extra and book a better place! P.S. We checked into the hotel April 15th 2022 about 8:00 pm. The hotel manager pay attention to your staff, if she can't meet guests properly fire her!
