Took my mum for a treat and for her to reminisce.
wow!! We were not disappointed, it was a fantastic stay.
The Building and architecture is stunning, huge tall ceilings and windows. Beautiful tiles everywhere, elegant dining and meeting rooms.
Our room was fab, two double beds, lovely free snack box, posh teas and coffees.
We loved the 5pm social hour, a chance to mingle with the other guests and an hour of free drinks and snacks.
Breakfast was also great, it was extremely busy as the hotel was fully booked the night before so I did feel the staff were overstretched and there was a wait for fresh eggs and tea / coffee… but hey we were in no rush.
Just beautiful… can’t wait to go again.

Gorgeous rooms with beautiful original features. The social hour offering us a free glass of wine, beer or soft in the bar was a lovely surprise.

This hotel is magnificent in terms of its facilities and its space. Our room was clean & tidy, and the staff were very friendly.
Our only area for improvement would be:
- the fact the floor boards are very creaky - we heard the people in the room above us walking around very clearly, late at night.
- the hotel has a pub situated opposite, which on a Saturday night, had music blaring / thudding until 4am.

Fantastic hotel! Great to have luxury without stuffiness. Amazing building and really great staff, comfortable beds and lovely little bathroom toiletries etc.

The hotel vibe was great. The rooms were a bit basic, but i was mainly there to sleep after my meetings anyways. The bar and restaurant was great too.

Stylish historic hotel in the heart of Manchester. Impressive lobby, spacious rooms with comfy beds and nice touches, plus strong showers. Friendly, professional staff and a lively bar/restaurant downstairs. Great base for concerts and city exploring; can be busy but feels special.

Really enjoyed my overnight stay. Comfortable in a really nice building. One improvement could be the lighting — it seemed a bit dark everywhere. Nice breakfast. Good value.
