Park Crescent Hotel

This was not a good experience. The first issue we encountered was when we got back to the room in the evening we found the bathroom floor wet. We realised it was coming from the ceiling around the light fitting. We reported it to the hotel who apologised and investigated the rooms above us and said it was improper use of the water. They were redecorating some rooms near ours which is fine apart from the fact that they continued to do this, using a bench saw and a drill and listening to music whilst they work right up to midnight when it combined with whoever is above is doing what I can only describe as a conga line in military boots. We gave in and rang the office at 12 to complain and they said they'd sort it. Power tools stopped, conga line intensified. Seemed like these dudes were nocturnal or something. As for the basics. Cleanness 5/10 few hairs in the bedding, no towels provided. Facilities were a kettle and tea bags but milk of any kind. All of this and we paid £95 for privilege of being kept awake all night. Also some absolute [redacted] parked way to close to my car and dented it with their door but I can't blame the hotel for that I suppose. Although the car park spaces are very tight.

Stayed here as we went to a gig on the 26th August. Was a bit nervous to stay here because of previous reviews. However, this place is absolutely faultless. Staff went above and beyond, moved cars around in the car park to ensure we had a parking space. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Little touches such as bottles of water and biscuits in the room. Lots of ubers in the area, lots of take aways and a wetherspoons a 15 minute walk away! Beds very comfy Rooms big enough for what we needed. Rooms were clean Absolute bargain too, just over £100 other hotels for that night wants £300+ We would definitely stay here again.
