Cairns Colonial Club Resort is a perfect place for a stay in Cairns. Staff is nice and friendly, swimming pools are great and restaurants give you good options for food. Rooms are a bit old and carpet has seen better days, but still acceptable and clean. I’ve read some bad reviews online but sometimes problems come from hosts, we should all be respectful, small effort would mean a better experience for everyone.

This hotel was well located in terms of proximity to the main tourist areas, but we had difficulties using public transport.
The rooms were very clean and the shared bathrooms were very clean.
The environment was very well kept and wonderful, we would definitely repeat for the price.

The reception staff are helpful. I stayed in a bungalow room this time, but in Cairns where prices are high, the price is quite reasonable. The beds were comfortable. Shower is shared. There is a laundry and a place to hang laundry on site. There was a pool but the water was dirty. Many campers were stopped. It takes less than 10 minutes on foot to the nearest bus stop, and it costs about $ 3 to the city in about 5 minutes from the bus stop. Walking to the city, but less than an hour. There are no shops around, so you can shop at a supermarket in the city. Drinks are sold at the front desk. Be careful as the walk from the bus stop is dark at night.

It was larger and cleaner than I expected.
It's out of the city center, but I used Uber so it wasn't a big deal.
I was also pleased that a welcome drink was included.

The Bohemia resort is located close to the airport, excellent pubs including (Cock & Bull pictured) and restaurants so was perfect for an overnight stay. The garden pool area looks inviting.
The rooms are basic but clean, fairly old bathrooms simple amenities in fair condition. comfortable bed.
Well priced and well located.
Friendly staff.

Breakfast is very simple, but you can eat enough, Western food is like that? Although the location does not depend on the city center, there is a bus at the entrance to the shopping center, and it is possible to travel back and forth within two hours of buying a ticket. This price is at this hotel, I think it is ok.

Service was very simple, direct and uncomplicated. Cleanliness was good, pool was great, only the room facilities could be slightly improved. Create more space in the corner of the refrigerator with shelves. But otherwise everything is pretty perfect. A bit far from the center, but okay.

The room is very suitable for family travel, the facilities are very full, slightly older, but the transportation is convenient and comfortable. It is also convenient to rent a car around, big supermarket, seaside, and so on. The price here is very good, mainly a family room with a kitchen!
