The Nikitin restaurant serves authentic Russian cuisine, and the complimentary afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful. It's definitely worth staying here when you visit Manzhouli.

This century-old establishment, founded in 1904, was formerly the Nikitin Hotel, built by Russian General Nikitin, and was Manzhouli's first Russian-style hotel. It's not just a place to stay, but an immersive urban landmark for experiencing the cultural fusion of the Sino-Russian border. The entire stay was incredibly atmospheric and offered excellent value for money. Firstly, the hotel's retro Russian decor creates a fantastic ambiance, and they even provide complimentary clothing for photo ops. Secondly, the hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of Zhongsu Golden Street. It's just a few minutes' walk to Ruble Restaurant and the Milk Tea House. The street itself is lined with Russian-style onion-domed buildings and neon lights. Taking an evening stroll downstairs allows you to soak in Manzhouli's nightscape – it's truly delightful. There are plenty of taxis outside the hotel, making it super convenient to get to the National Gate Scenic Area, Matryoshka Doll Scenic Area, and Manzhouli Museum. Shopping, dining, and sightseeing are all easily accessible. A 10-minute taxi ride to Manzhouli Station means you don't have to rush for your travel. The neighborhood is filled with bilingual Chinese and Russian signs, and you'll see many Russian tourists, creating a strong international border atmosphere. The hotel's service was very thoughtful. Not only did they upgrade our room type, but they also included breakfast. I must say, the hotel's breakfast is genuinely good, with both Chinese and Russian options, and it runs until 11 AM. So, if you want to sleep in on a tiring trip, you don't have to worry about missing it. We loved sitting at the outdoor dining area, enjoying the cool summer breeze while watching the street scene. The hotel also offers afternoon tea, which was a nice touch. The minor drawback is that while the hotel has a laundry room, there's no dryer, so air-drying clothes wasn't very convenient. However, this small flaw doesn't overshadow the overall experience; we were extremely satisfied with our stay! 👍

This hotel is excellent! It's a century-old establishment in Manzhouli, located right on Zhongsu Pedestrian Street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Stepping inside feels like a journey back in time, with room decor beautifully blending Russian influences – it's perfect for photos. The front desk service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and thoughtful; they even upgraded us to a suite! Breakfast was plentiful, and there's a self-service afternoon tea. The hotel also has its own parking lot, which is great for those driving. Overall, our stay was a perfect experience.

The room had a lot of character and I slept really well. The pedestrian street is right downstairs. The customer service was very attentive and friendly, and the breakfast had a great variety. They even offered a complimentary afternoon tea and a chance to take photos in traditional palace attire!

This stay was full of pleasant surprises! The hotel's location is excellent, right on Jin Street, and just a short walk to the popular and delicious Lubuli Western Restaurant. We parked in the backyard and could easily spend the whole evening exploring on foot. The front desk staff were warm and informative. Plus, there was a gentleman in a tailcoat who helped carry our luggage to the room – I haven't experienced service like that in a long time. Since it was the off-season, we got a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was comfortably laid out and smelled fresh. They also provided so many complimentary items, and even afternoon tea! My only minor complaint is that while the mattress was comfortable, when one person turned over, the other could feel it, which might be a slight issue for light sleepers. Overall, it's a hotel that perfectly blends history, culture, and hospitality. I really loved it.

The hotel service was excellent from start to finish! It truly lives up to its century-old reputation. The afternoon tea and breakfast spreads were incredibly lavish. They even upgraded our room and gave us a souvenir, all without us having to ask since it wasn't too busy. The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to get anywhere. Plus, with a laundry room and a soft play area, it's ideal for families traveling with children.
