Maoxian County was rebuilt after the earthquake, and everything is brand new. The hotel facilities, sanitary environment, and service items are very thoughtful, with exquisite welcome fruits and snacks. The most commendable thing is the ticket to the Ancient Qiang City of China given by the hotel. It is really worth the trip to the ancient city to understand the life, culture, and beliefs of the ancient Qiang people.

The deluxe double room we stayed in last night was not available today, so we booked a starry sky room (room number 8210) instead. The room price was 80 or 90 yuan higher, but the feeling of checking in was much worse than the day before. Because the room is exposed to the west and there is a window in the center of the roof, it is very hot during the day, and the temperature in the room cannot be lowered even if the air conditioner is turned on. I wanted to open the canopy to see the night sky at night, but because the top floor room was blocked, I could only see the two lights in the top floor room. The canopy glass was also dirty. This hotel is good, but I really don’t recommend the starry room. It has a false name. I still recommend the deluxe twin room. The room is large and has a balcony, which is very good.

The service was really very very very thoughtful. The housekeeper contacted us before we arrived and turned on the floor heating and heater a few hours in advance. We also received a very warm card and small gift when we arrived in the room. The next day, when we had breakfast, the restaurant staff provided almost one-on-one service, helping us make coffee and send fruits, and paying attention to our needs at any time. Very polite and helpful staff, excellent service attitude and really good environment. Super clean, good view (it is on a mountain top) and comfortable beds. Would love to visit again once the main road finished construction, still a little challenging to get up there and down again, inexperienced drivers beware!

The hotel is an independent area, very quiet, with accommodation and restaurant in one building each, which is quite grand. There are two charging stations, but there seems to be no laundry room. The restaurant environment is good and the staff are very enthusiastic.

The third sloping uphill at Maoxian Bus Terminal, next to Pingtou Dongzhai, a three-star hotel, covers an area of 5 acres, and many people can book in advance. The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom shower and hand washing are partitioned, the hot water is large, 24 hours hot water, the bath is very comfortable, there is a hair dryer. The quilt cover sheets are washed and dried by themselves. There is a clothes drying place on the second floor. The only inconvenience is that there are few people to walk to the street opposite the passenger station to eat. The boss and the proprietress are both Yi people, it is easy to communicate, and any problems can be solved in time.

Environment: Looking out from the hotel room, you can see the county town and the snow-capped mountains, and the view is good. Hygiene: The room is very clean. The only shortcoming is that there is only one pair of sandals in the room. Two people need to change. ps: The boss is very nice. We went there on a weekday and there were not many tourists. The boss helped us upgrade to a room with a terrace for free. I love it.
