Owner has listed business for sale and cutting costs. The exquisite breakfast had been replaced with a bare minimum meal. Both the Wi-Fi and main phone number (listed on website) have been disconnected. No bottled water in room as in past visits. The house is still very beautiful and the owner is friendly.

We booked three rooms for our stay. All of us (4) agreed that it was the perfect place to stay while on an art excursion of Maquoketa and vicinity. We enjoyed the history of the place. Breakfast was excellent. The furnishings throughout the Manor are impressive.
