The hotel is located in a national park and is convenient for safari. Family room, huge space and two bathrooms. Bathroom quality is good. Suitable for a family of four or two couples. Hotel service is very good. Hotel service is very good. But there is no phone or TV in the room. The hotel that took a hot air balloon ride proactively provided a manual wake-up call service.

Our family recently stayed at Sarova Mara Camp for two nights, and our experience was absolutely fantastic! From the warm greeting, to the well-maintained grounds to the exceptionally hospitable staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We especially loved that every meal felt like a feast. There were countless options for each meal and I was able to safely eat gluten free-the attention to each detail made our stay remarkable. Special thanks to Damaris and Meshack. They made our experience memorable. Damaris always made sure I had GF bread and dessert. If a main dish needed to be tweaked a bit to be GF, she made sure it was done and delivered it to me when ready. Meshack made sure to coordinate a plan for pizza for our kids which was a huge hit with them. We really appreciated the attention and accommodation-truly exceptional service. The tents were clean and well designed with all of the amenities you could need. It was so wild to hear the sounds of various animals at night (including the lions who were safely outside the camp). Excellent location, service, food and staff! We loved every minute of our time here and dream of coming back again one day!!

First time posting a review on Tripadvisor but we felt compelled to with how special our stay was at Savora Mara Game Camp. Truly an amazing place and once in a lifetime experience to stay here. We were very lucky to be upgraded to the Club Tents. The room was absolutely stunning with such a large luxurious space with Jack and the butler team providing well and truly above and beyond service. The tents were impeccably clean and so beautifully designed with all of the amenities you could need. Waking up to sounds of all the animals, including lions roaring was a crazy experience. The private lounge at the club tents is stunning with incredible views and we can’t compilment the chefs enough - the food was 10/10 every time we dined there. From the service at check-in from Grace through to our waiter Caroline the staff were the biggest part of what made our stay so special! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and always up for a chat. It felt like they went out of their way to provide us the most amazing experience possible. They even organised a special cake and song/dance for us to celebrate our honeymoon. The rest of the hotel facilities; bars, pools, restaurants and entertainment (Masai dancers and Singers/Music each night) were also great. This was definitely our most incredible holiday experience and couldn’t recommend it more!!! And that’s all without detailing the location inside the reserve and incredible action on the game drives…

We stayed at this camp in the Masai Mara for three nights, and we can highly recommend it! Located right in the heart of the National Reserve at Lions Hill, the camp offers a truly unique experience. As soon as you step outside, you’re immersed in a stunning national park filled with incredible wildlife, including many cats that can often be found near the camp itself. The accommodations are is exceptional—beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and the tents provide an unforgettable way to experience the wild in comfort and style. The room service was excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Special evenings were made even better with live music, and the food was always outstanding. A special thank you to Douglas nyarangi Trainee for his exceptional cooking skills; every meal was a delight! We can wholeheartedly recommend this camp and are already looking forward to returning. Thank you for making our safari an unforgettable experience!

The Sarova Mara Game camp is located in an ideal location and we were able to see so many incredible animals on each game drive. The staff at Sarova were exceptional. They were friendly, kind, and incredibly hospitable. They go the extra mile to make sure that you are comfortable and they had incredible facilities as well.

Great lodge to stay and do safari. Beautiful animals, great people, good food, amazing service! Kitchen is using organic vegetables from it’s own gardens. Special thanks to Brian for a great entertainment! PS Don’t forget to take tour to nearby Maasai village

Our stay at this luxury safari lodge in Masai Mara was nothing short of exceptional. The location is breathtaking—nestled in the reserve, it offers unparalleled access to game drives, where we encountered lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and zebras in their natural habitat. The lodge itself is a haven of comfort and elegance, featuring plush beds, a decadent spa, and a heated swimming pool where we could unwind while overlooking the sweeping Mara landscape. The dining experience was a delight, with delicious dishes that brought out the best in local flavors. The staff made our stay truly unforgettable with their warmth and hospitality, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Special thanks to Solomon, Joseph, Brian, and Pariken, who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and knowledge added so much to our experience. In every way, this lodge epitomizes luxury safari living. For anyone seeking an immersive, relaxing, and memorable stay in the Masai Mara, we can’t recommend it highly enough. We left feeling rejuvenated and with memories that will last a lifetime.

I am writing this review one year later but here goes. Mara Sarova is extremely special to me because I celebrated my 30th birthday here. Not only was the Camp stunning and so well maintained but the staff went over and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to make my special day memorable. I want to take the time to thank a few members of the hospitality team that I do remember Douglas- the chef, was so warm and always ensured that I got an Indian dish to eat with all my meals and I have to add that they were delicious. Damaris, was so wonderful and attended to me every time I stepped out for a meal or a snack, always ensuring that I left satisfied. I stayed in the gorgeous camp room and it undoubtedly was one of the best experiences since it is within the reserve and you can often hear animals in the night. The room service staff were also extremely courteous and thoughtful. Overall such a great experience. I would 10/10 recommend Mara Sarova to anyone travelling to Masai Mara and I certainly hope to go back someday.
