We had a very nice stay with Jimmy, Greeta and Emiel. We felt very welcome, the family is just so friendly and is there to help you. Greeta is a good cook; she make delicious breakfast and big portions, we enjoyed that very much. The room is very clean. The beach is within walking distance and the most beautiful beach we have seen so far in India. When we are in Alleppey again we will definitely come back!

This is a lovely, laid-back place, round the corner from the beach. It's easygoing and low maintenance, and you need to be comfortable with basic facilities. That said, the host family is kind and helpful, and the home cooked food is great. What's not to love.

I was one night at Achayans Homestay and found the most welcoming host family. They are very kind and helped me with everything. The room was spacious and clean with aircon and hot water. Their son Emil even came with me to the train station to make sure that I find the right train :-)

A lovely homestay run by a very welcoming couple and their son. The room was comfortable (a/c worked well, thankfully), dinner and breakfast were delicious. The area is also convenient, close to Marari beach and not too far from the houseboats in Alleppey. Highly recommended!

We felt at home from the beginning, they were so welcoming, kind and helped us in any situation. Greta cooked for us every evening, such delicious food! The homestay also has a really nice location; near to a very beautiful beach and also near to the city aleppuzha. The room was really nice; ac and very clean! Also it was really helpful that they organized a transport from the airport for us. Thank you so much, and hope to see you all soon!

This place was fairly priced and the Host and entire family went OVER and BEYOND to ensure our comfort. They were ALWAYS available regardless of the time of day or night and were ALWAYS helpful and pleasant. They made us feel like part of their family and not guests. We will definitely stay there again when next we visit.

After a great enjoyable stay at Achayans in 2019, I again stayed here in March 2023. And I once more had a great and relaxing time there. Greeta, Jimmy and Emil are a great trio, excelling in hospitality, friendliness and in providing general advice and support. The location is great - walking distance to a quiet beach; the option for all in stay included amazing good food, the room was sober but fully equiped, and the peaceful garden with lots of birds and trees makes for a lovely setting. We were welcomed by a lovely and welcoming family. The accommodation is perfect, clean and comfortable, and just steps from the beach. Rita's meals are absolutely delicious. She puts her heart and soul into everything! We will definitely be back.
